	Recently I purchased a 2006 E250 with a 5.4L engine and about 153k miles. I’m aware I probably overpaid, but I didn’t mind since these vans have a reputation for being solid and long-lasting. There was no check engine light at the time, so I thought I got a good deal.
</p>

<p>
	Unfortunately, about halfway home, the check engine light came on <span class="ipsEmoji">🤣</span>. I was pretty shocked—I guess I got played by the seller. Surprising, right?
</p>

<p>
	The codes I’m dealing with are P0351 and P0356 (cylinders 1 and 6). So far, I’ve replaced the ECM, coils, and spark plugs, but the issue is still there. One thing I’ve noticed is that when I clear the codes, the van runs perfectly for about 3 minutes. After that, the codes return and it starts misfiring again. If I clear them, it runs fine briefly, then the cycle repeats.
</p>

<p>
	Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? I’ve seen suggestions like a bad alternator, faulty connectors, or a grounding issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated—thanks in advance.

	1999 Ford E-150 Econoline "Chateau" V8 Triton 4.6L VIN: 1FMRE11W4XHA22592 Power steering HP Line.
</p>

<p>
	The issue I'm having is a major leak from the steering pump to power steering HP Line connection. The frustration I'm having is the installed line and the configuration does not match the power line available from any source (see here: <a href="https://www.rivercityfordparts.ca/oem-parts/ford-motorcraft-trade-power-steering-pressure-hose-psh26?srsltid=AfmBOoovUO00KimH0_5h13lAZghX0mPAD4JAVRaGkYH5pNVqnPzozoHs" rel="external nofollow">https://www.rivercityfordparts.ca/oem-parts/ford-motorcraft-trade-power-steering-pressure-hose-psh26?srsltid=AfmBOoovUO00KimH0_5h13lAZghX0mPAD4JAVRaGkYH5pNVqnPzozoHs</a>). I can't figure out how to uplaod a photo so I'll have to describe. Where the available replacement has a long metal pipe ending in a 180 degree bend, the line installed on my van has a short pipe with no bend. Does anyone have a similar van and can send a photo from underneath the engine showing the power steering HP line? Also, the space is very limited so I can't get the line off. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

	We have a 2014 E350 cutaway ambulance that has broken hood hinges on the upper side. 3 on the right and 2 on the left. There is no body damage and the hood operates as it should. There is no specific event that indicates it is broken. They are  just broken when the hood is opened. Has anyone ever encountered this? I worked in a body shop for years and have never heard of hood hinges breaking.

You turn the key on and the engine won’t even try to turn over. It acts like the battery is dead. Just to make sure I am clear. I am talking about the ambient temperature outside, not engine tempt. I have a 2017 ford e450 6.8 super duty chassis, it has a Jayco RedHawk right built on it, bought it three years old, never had a problem with it, when I’m not using it I start it ounce a month and run it for an hour or so. Now my problem, I went out to start it up and battery totally dead, tried to charge it, could only get up to 8 and a half volts. I went and purchased a brand new Die Hard battery, checked and cleaned both poses and battery cables, went to start it, all it would is make a bump to start two times while holding the key, it would not start, after trying, I don’t know how many times it would start and run for about five seconds. Now it has only done that about three times, I was researching other forums and have made a few change outs, now the code I did get off the vehicle was a P0607. What I changed out was the starter, fuel control module, ignition switch, used a contact spray on the main control module connections I also cleaned a number of ground connection points. I tried some starting fluid to see if it would start, no go. With all the computer controls, the things I haven’t changed is the in tank fuel pump and main control module, also after it fails to start the parking P light blinks. I’m 78 and am limited on some things I can do, I want to check the fuel tank pressure but can’t locate a fitting to use on this e450 as it has no Schrader connection point, any help will be appreciated please.

<p>
	<span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:16px;">On the other hand, last week when it acted up my friend said he saw white smoke come from the exhaust. I was on a flat road, which is where I've </span><span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:16px;">sporadically noticed it lagging, but today I was entering the Interstate via an inclined ramp and it was really struggling to make it up. At one point it shuttered / skipped along but didn't stall. I made it home but am not certain of the issue.</span><br style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:16px;" />
	<br style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:16px;" />
	<span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:16px;">Pretty much I've been thinking the brakes have been locking up but now I'm starting to wonder if it might be the glowplugs. I've not replaced them yet and read that the smoke, lagging, struggling on inclines, and skipping could be a misfire.</span><br style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:16px;" />
	<br style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:16px;" />
	<span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;font-size:16px;">Any help is appreciated. Thanks</span>

	Greetings,
</p>

<p>
	I'm just looking for a little direction with the transmission in my box truck. It's a 2016 E350 5.4 flex with 62K miles. Only one mile from my warehouse, I heard a pop (not too loud) and the transmission basically went into neutral. After dragging it back, I discovered a P0751 code with my scan tool. I did a bit of research to find that it could possibly be a tad difficult to diagnose. I decided to order a complete solenoid body with all 7 solenoids. I installed it with a new filter and cleared the code. Now, when I try to shift it forward or backward, it seems to move slightly, but doesn't engage into a gear.  I've checked the resistance on the solenoids and they all seem to check out. Any thoughts or direction?  And what could have Popped? Thanks, Jim
