	A few weeks ago I had an issue start.
</p>

<p>
	I have a known alternator problem.
</p>

<p>
	I "think" it started over charging and burnt up my #6 coil.
</p>

<p>
	Originally saw P0306 code.
</p>

<p>
	I had some used coils and plugs and swapped.
</p>

<p>
	Thought a few minutes would have me set.
</p>

<p>
	Nope.
</p>

<p>
	Tried multiple used, a couple new plugs and coils.
</p>

<p>
	No better.
</p>

<p>
	Compared and checked what I could.
</p>

<p>
	I do have positive battery voltage at one side of coil input.
</p>

<p>
	Other side shows "pulse".
</p>

<p>
	I checked the connector and just because it is cheap and easy I will replace that also shortly.
</p>

<p>
	But...
</p>

<p>
	After searching I thought PCM was going to be issue.
</p>

<p>
	Thought too much voltage and/or burnt coil must have burnt up component (resistor?) in the PCM.
</p>

<p>
	Saw a few videos showing how an old one was burnt swelled up and obviously bad.
</p>

<p>
	I pulled mine and opened up.
</p>

<p>
	I realize that my naked eye might not identify electrical trouble, but did not see anything like I was expecting.
</p>

<p>
	Attached pics...
</p>

<p>
	So I am really still wondering what to do or if there is any hope for my poor MKX.
</p>

<p>
	I also read a few posts while searching mentioning that injector pulse was checked with a noid light for a suspicious cylinder when investigating an ignition coil trouble.
</p>

<p>
	Any enlightenment on the connection there?
</p>

<p>
	Or anything that might help?
</p>

<p>
	Something anyone else has been through and similar?
</p>

<p>
	I previously posted on Ford Truck site that I frequent, if anyone interested enough to want more history/detail.
</p>

	Am I the only one who thinks that Lincoln should have offered the "Complete" Embrace lighting in every Nautilus? Seems like a no brainer... I have a Premiere II and don't need the 28 speaker sound or the 24 position seats... I miss not having the light up "LINCOLN" on the rear and the full light bar in the front with emblem...

	Good morning! I'm new here. Just bought my first lincoln! 2025 Lincoln Nautilus Reserve III in Red Carpet.  My company has started requiring people to come back into the office, and I have about a 90-mile round-trip drive. My two vehicles were an 2022 F-150 King Ranch and a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392. I loved the crap out of my 392, but it's just not feasible for that kind of commute, and the F150 isn't that much better, tbqh. I figured if I'm going to trade in one of them, I might as well get something really comfortable.  So far I couldn't be more pleased.

	My wife's 2022 Nautilus (22,000 miles 35 months old) gets better fuel economy on 93 VS 87. Not scientific, but she makes about the same 20-22 mile urban trip every day. To grocery stores, library, gym, etc. The dash MPG read out says usually in the 24.2 or so MPG on 93, and 22-23. or so on 87. This is not stop and go driving but does have traffic lights every 1-5 miles. Speed rarely exceeds 45 MPH. And it's been reading this way for past several months since I switched to 93.  And I know this is not a scientific test. And on a recent trip, saw over 30 MPG for whole tank. 34 once with a little tail wind. Now I know 93 octane fuel does not have more energy in it than 87. It has chemicals that reduce it's volatility so as not to knock and preignite. It just allows you to run more compression (direct injection allows this with a cooler charge) and timing. And our cars are tuned to pull timing on 87, and I can tell the slight difference in performance. Is it possible that when the CPU goes a while without detecting a knock, it goes back to a 93 octane tune. It still makes sense economy wise to use 87. 93 gives about 5% better fuel economy, and the fuel costs about 25% more around here. Mostly use Shell. And I doubt if carbon build up is any different on 93 VS 87. But I think 93 sure drives more "lively". For a 4200 LB vehicle, that little Turbo 2.0 has adequate power for a family passenger car. Anyone else notice this?

	Having our second replacement done this week on wife's 2022 Nautilus. It's the 2.0 T engine. Check engine light comes on and code say inefficient cat the Lincoln tech says. Car is a tad over 2 years old. Has 15,000 miles on odometer. First one was replaced about a year ago, now they're changing it again. Car is driven normally. Usually driven about 20-30 miles each day it is used. Urban driving....45 MPH or so. Occasional Interstate use. Usually goes about 10 miles to gym and shop. Then 10 miles home. Gets to operating temp. Wires have been checked, no exhaust leaks, a/f fine. No other codes. Car drives fine, adequate power, etc. MPG 23 or so on this type of use. We use Shell 87.  Have any of you guys seen this on other 2.0 Nautilus vehicles? Thanks

<p>
	It's a truly remarkable vehicle.  I would like access to operating specifications eventually for all of the various systems. Though I'm certain that is mostly inaccessible beyond what can be found in alldata.

	My history consists of 9 Town Cars 1 97 Continental and one 1970 Mark series. The first or rather gateway vehicle being the 1987 Town Car Signature Series in black with red velour interior . Purchased with 97k on the clock and sold with 592k original engine trans and very worn diff (was "posi")

	I placed an order for a FHEV White Platinum Black Label Nautilus on 11/21.  Within an hour I received a confirmation email from Lincoln.  Now, the wait begins.

	I just went from a 2021 Nautilus to the 2024 Nautilus.  On the 2024, if I switch to Sirius or FM, then go back to Android auto (to see waze for instance), the seek button on the steering wheel does nothing.  In the 2021, I could still cycle through my preset stations on the steering wheel, even if the display screen was back in android auto.  The only way I can go through my presets with the steering wheel in the 2024 is if the main screen is on Sirius.  Does anyone know a way around this, or is this considered a "feature" not a "bug"?

	When under heavy acceleration (NOT FLOORED) merging into highway traffic or passing another vehicle.<span>  </span>The interior of my NEW Nautilus fills with the rotten egg smell of exhaust.<span>  </span>This is the exact same problem I had with my ’16 MKX and even after the dealer preformed the recommended procedures in Technical Service Bulletin 18-2057 which supersedes TSB 17-0035 the problem was less but was still present.<span>  </span>This is one of the reasons, plus a few more that I got rid of the MKX and ordered a new Nautilus.<span>  </span>NOW I find out that I spent $63,000 for a vehicle with the same problem.<span>  </span>When in the hell is Ford/Lincoln going to get their shit together.

	I purchased a 2024 Lincoln Nautilus in late February 2024; it has serious battery issues. I am told that almost all of the first/earlier released Nautilus vehicles have the same battery issues. I have also been told that the more recently released Nautilus vehicles do not have battery issues. Does anyone have a Lincoln Nautilus with a build date of February 2024 or later and, if so, do you have battery issues?

	I have a 2024 Nautilus Hybrid.

<p>
	I turn my radio off when parked. When I restart the radio comes on. Cannot find anything on line to answer why. If you have a fix, please let me know.

	I have a 2024 BL FHEV Nautilus on order.  It was assigned a VIN months ago but still hasn't been scheduled into production.  I placed an order for a similar 2025 BL FHEV Nautilus a couple of weeks ago.  According to my dealer representative, the 2025 is supposed to start production in mid-July.
