<p>I've copied the following from the Wish List topic:</p>

<p style="margin-left:0px;">So perhaps Ford is listening. News articles identifying a unibody subcompact <a href="http://i.viglink.com/?key=f42f3787681691730b991f319b237190&amp;insertId=3613ca256bbc23a6&amp;type=CD&amp;exp=60%3ACI1C55A%3A20&amp;libId=jmr6l7pe0100b4d8000DA19j1oiel&amp;loc=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.blueovalforums.com%2Fforums%2Findex.php%3F%2Ftopic%2F64450-an-actual-small-pickup%2F&amp;v=1&amp;iid=3613ca256bbc23a6&amp;out=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%2Fref%3Dnb_sb_noss%3Furl%3Dsearch-alias%253Dautomotive%26field-keywords%3Dtruck&amp;ref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.blueovalforums.com%2Fforums%2Findex.php%3F%2Ftopic%2F64450-an-actual-small-pickup%2Fpage-2&amp;title=An%20actual%20small%20pickup%20-%20Ford%3A%20Wish%20List%20-%20Blue%20Oval%20Forums&amp;txt=%3Cspan%3Etruck%3C%2Fspan%3E" title="Link added by VigLink" rel="external nofollow"><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">truck</span></a> possibly being built in Mexico for the 2022 model year are circulating. This vehicle may be based on the Focus platform, some have also mentioned Fusion. At first I thought, bringing back the Ranchero? I'm all for that, but a Focus sized car? Until I did a little research, I am a <a href="http://i.viglink.com/?key=f42f3787681691730b991f319b237190&amp;insertId=ffb21d05420af837&amp;type=CD&amp;exp=60%3ACI1C55A%3A20&amp;libId=jmr6l7pe0100b4d8000DA19j1oiel&amp;loc=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.blueovalforums.com%2Fforums%2Findex.php%3F%2Ftopic%2F64450-an-actual-small-pickup%2F&amp;v=1&amp;iid=ffb21d05420af837&amp;out=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%2Fref%3Dnb_sb_noss%3Furl%3Dsearch-alias%253Dautomotive%26field-keywords%3Dfan&amp;ref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.blueovalforums.com%2Fforums%2Findex.php%3F%2Ftopic%2F64450-an-actual-small-pickup%2Fpage-2&amp;title=An%20actual%20small%20pickup%20-%20Ford%3A%20Wish%20List%20-%20Blue%20Oval%20Forums&amp;txt=%3Cspan%3Efan%3C%2Fspan%3E" title="Link added by VigLink" rel="external nofollow"><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">fan</span></a> of <span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(103,176,69);font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;">the original</span> Ranger. Love the size and capabilities so I compared the 2018 Focus to the 1991 Ranger, regular cab, short wheelbase 2wd. This is what I came up with:</p>
<p style="margin-left:0px;"> </p>
<p style="margin-left:0px;">Measurement 1991 Ranger 2018 Focus</p>
<p style="margin-left:0px;"> </p>
<p style="margin-left:0px;">Length 176.5" 172.8"</p>
<p style="margin-left:0px;">Wheelbase 108 104.3</p>
<p style="margin-left:0px;">Height 63.7 58</p>
<p style="margin-left:0px;">Head Room 39.2 38.3</p>
<p style="margin-left:0px;">Leg Room 42.4 43.1</p>
<p style="margin-left:0px;">Hip Room 52.7 53.9</p>
<p style="margin-left:0px;">Shoulder Room 54.6 55.6</p>
<p style="margin-left:0px;"> </p>
<p style="margin-left:0px;">So basically all of the <span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(103,176,69);font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;">measurements</span> are real close except for the <span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(103,176,69);font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;">height</span>, the Focus is about 6 inches lower. The Focus is <span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(103,176,69);font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;">available</span> with AWD, 2.3L I4 EB putting out 350 hp. Don't believe a "Ranchero" needs that kind of power so perhaps detune the <a href="http://i.viglink.com/?key=f42f3787681691730b991f319b237190&amp;insertId=6fc8a9db0735e0f1&amp;type=CD&amp;exp=60%3ACI1C55A%3A20&amp;libId=jmr6l7pe0100b4d8000DA19j1oiel&amp;loc=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.blueovalforums.com%2Fforums%2Findex.php%3F%2Ftopic%2F64450-an-actual-small-pickup%2F&amp;v=1&amp;iid=6fc8a9db0735e0f1&amp;out=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%2Fref%3Dnb_sb_noss%3Furl%3Dsearch-alias%253Dautomotive%26field-keywords%3Dengine&amp;ref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.blueovalforums.com%2Fforums%2Findex.php%3F%2Ftopic%2F64450-an-actual-small-pickup%2Fpage-2&amp;title=An%20actual%20small%20pickup%20-%20Ford%3A%20Wish%20List%20-%20Blue%20Oval%20Forums&amp;txt=%3Cspan%3Eengine%3C%2Fspan%3E" title="Link added by VigLink" rel="external nofollow"><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">engine</span></a> to 349 hp. <img src="https://blueovalforums.com/forums/uploads/emoticons/default_smile.png" alt=":)"></p>

<p> </p>
<p>I would love to have the Ranchero return. I know there as been discussions on using the Courier name. To me I don't care what Ford calls it, although I would prefer Ranchero.</p>
