I remember seeing an “executive order” stating the start/stop feature would be eliminated.

I thought that would be for new vehicles, but in the last few weeks my 2023 Nautilus is not Stop/Starting. It displays on the dash with a line through it.

If this is tied to the “EO”, couldn’t they have changed the setting to toggle on/off and simply stay in that mode, especially after turning off the engine. Let the driver decide.

With gas $$$ getting up there, I am hoping to squeeze every mile/gallon I can get.

	Hey everyone,

I’m looking for some advice from any service writers, managers, or corporate contacts on the forum who know how to navigate a Customer Satisfaction Program (CSP) 21N12 / TSB 22-2229 system block.

Here is the breakdown of my situation:

Vehicle: 2019 Lincoln MKC Reserve 2.0L FWD EcoBoost

Current Mileage: 76,983 miles (Well under the 84,000-mile safety net established under 21N12)

The Diagnosis: White Bear Lincoln officially diagnosed a hard failure due to internal coolant intrusion drowning Cylinder 3 (pulled misfire codes, confirmed via internal borescope per TSB 22-2229).

Because the car is over 7,000 miles under the mileage threshold for the program, the mechanical defect matches the criteria perfectly. However, corporate automatically denied coverage because the VIN falls outside the system block's specific factory production build-date window.

To be completely human about it, this vehicle is the only way my household functions right now. I am a parent solely responsible for dropping off and picking up three girls at two different schools plus getting them to all of their sports practices and games. On top of that, the A/C just went out. Compounding the mechanical failure, my business recently went under, leaving me facing heavy debt and absolutely zero liquid savings to fund an unexpected $10,000 corporate engineering defect out of pocket.

I called the Lincoln customer service lines to request an escalation to a regional manager for a Goodwill review. Instead, I got routed to a representative who told me "no one is above her" and eventually hung up on me when I pressed for a tier-2 supervisor escalation.

I am currently prepping physical certified mail packets to send directly to Dearborn Executive Consumer Relations to request a Prior Approval Goodwill Claim.

For the technicians or service writers here:

Given that the call center completely stonewalled me, what is the most effective internal route to get a Regional Service Zone Manager to review this file?

Is there a specific digital waiver or an After Warranty Adjustment (AWA) form that I should be asking the dealership service manager to initiate on their end?

Any advice on how to get regional leadership to look past the automated system build-date blocks and see the low mileage and human element of this case would be deeply appreciated.

	Thanks in advance

Over the past few months, the future of the Lincoln Corsair seemed murky at best. But the future is no longer up in the air - Ford Authority learned that the 2027 Lincoln Corsair will be sold in America packing an all-new hybrid powertrain.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the 2027 Lincoln Corsair will return to North America as a Chinese-built luxury crossover, which means it will be imported. It'll exclusively feature a gasoline turbocharged hybrid engine: the 2.0L full hybrid, to be exact. That's the same powertrain utilized by the Lincoln Nautilus, the big brother to the Lincoln Corsair.

I took delivery of a 2026 Lincoln Nautilus Reserve III in April. After about 3,000 miles, I can report that this is a heckuva CUV. Mine is Infinite Black Metallic Clearcoat (IMO, better than the old Tuxedo Black) with Hot Chocolate interior and hybrid drive. First, the range is outstanding. Anywhere from 450 to 600 miles is well within reach. Fuel economy runs 5 mpg (highway) to 10 mpg (city) better than my 2024 4WD Explorer Ltd with the 2.3 engine. Acceleration with the hybrid feels about the same--no complaints with either. While I was shopping, it was recommended to me (on this site) to splurge for the hybrid system, even though it has a CVT. That was sound advice. The CVT is only noticeable on rare occasions, possibly because the ICE is almost invisible--it's that quiet.

	Now for the good stuff:

*The seats are excellent. Adjustable 90-ways-to-Sunday, massage, cooled/heated, and with great leather upholstery. They are a treat every time I sit in them.

*The dash is obviously the gee-whiz factor. However, once acclimated, it's actually pretty unobtrusive and functional. The only criticisms are that the nav on the 48" dash is finicky at times (the touchscreen tablet is rock-solid) and the lighted strakes on the doors can be too bright at night, depending on my choice of ambient color. Also, it would be nice to have a bit more information about the ICE (a tach is available on the non-hybrid) and battery pack (the MPG indicator is the only clue). However, there's only, like, a million settings and if I've overlooked these, that's entirely possible.

*The Revel Ultima is the real deal. This stereo is what got me excited about "Nauti Girl" in the first place. There are possibly better sound systems out there, but I doubt my hearing discernment would be able to appreciate better highs/lows/separation/clarity. If you want to blast Flim and the BBs, you'll hear all the subtle tones in crisp, 28-speaker reproduction. Piano solos with Khatia Buniatishvili at the keyboard are beautifully reproduced--and straight piano can be a challenge for cars. Thumping bass with Arctic Monkeys: Pure and undistorted. Seriously. This system fits this car perfectly.

*The fit and finish have been without reproach. Having had to have my Explorer repainted after delivery (factory silver paint ran out of metallic on my hood/front fender), my Ranger repaired (came factory-fresh with a big dent in the roof), and the roof on my wife's Escape looking like it had been brush-painted, the Nautilus' paint is remarkably good. Plus, there are no squeaks, rattles, or body groans. The doors close with an impressive "thwump" without any secondary rattles or vibrations. Solid. Nice.

*The ride is plush (maybe a bit too plush). It would be nice if the "excite" setting firmed up the suspension more.

*Quiet: The interior is as quiet as a tomb. Conversations with backseat passengers are easily held. It's so quiet, that highway conversations using hands-free Bluetooth sound about the same as holding the phone to my ear. Once the door is shut, it's almost like an isolation chamber. Kudos for this feature.

*The squircle steeing wheel with touchpads. Weird at first. However, I got used to it after a day and now I actually prefer the shape for highway driving. Plus, the leather on the wheel is smooth and soft.

*BlueCruise. Unsettling at first, I've quickly decided I like it. I just wish it worked over 80 mph (area turnpikes require 80+ or you'll get run over). It does seem to impact the "tap once" turn signal though, even if it's not actively operating. So, "sorry" if I only signaled one flash before merging in front of you.

*Passenger room in the backseat rivals an F150 SuperCrew. And the trunk space is generous. I feel like this might have been envisioned as a 3-row at some point but turned out to be a bit tight. As a 2-row, interior legroom is more than adequate. Visibility from inside is excellent.

*Styling: I elected against the Jet Package (because I like the shiny bits) and tinted the front windows. I think the overall visual is to give the Nauti length and to make her look "hunkered down". The 21" bright machined wheels looked taller to me than the all black (or mostly) 22" wheels. Interior styling looks posh, integrated, and nearly everything you touch feels soft and of high quality. The push buttons for PRNDL could have been replaced with a traditional T-lever but I understand the corporate schtick and, at least, they work well.

Next up: a clear bra for the nose and mirror faces.

I know this is a Chinese market car, but maybe we need to tap some of those stylists for some other projects?

To avoid Ford's rampant decontenting of its line, I'm now shopping Lincoln products. I drove the Nautilus and, while it's not sports car, it was at least very quiet and comfortable. The 24-spkr Revel stereo sounded nice, too. Has anyone had much experience with the Chinese-made Nautilus? Thoughts?

In the process of buying one. The exterior color is Midnight Currant Red Metallic with red leather interior. It has a moonroof. Not 100% sure what other options it has but everything works including the AC and air ride suspension. It has the 225 hp 5.0L HO and 4-speed AOD transmission. About 62K miles in excellent condition. No rust anywhere that I can see. Paint and interior look flawless. All I'm waiting on now is for the seller to give me his info so we can do a bank-to-bank money transfer and for the shipper to send me their paperwork. Have already agreed on pricing for the car and for shipment to my door. It will need new tires. They have plenty of tread, they are just really old (1992 DOT date code, YIKES!). That's not an issue though since I was planning to switch from the factory 16" wheels (which are in excellent condition) to the original 17x8 wheels from my '99 Mustang Cobra anyway and I'll probably go with Nitto NT555 G2s in size 255/50ZR17.

I also plan to eventually swap the air ride out for a ride height adjustable coil-over setup since these cars are basically the same underneath as a Fox body Mustang with the exception of a longer wheelbase and all of the suspension bits available for a Fox Mustang can be made to work.

I've always wanted one of these and almost bought a 1988 black Mark VII LSC in 1989 but decided on a new '89 Thunderbird SC instead. I just couldn't pass this one up since it's in really good condition and the price is lower than I expected.

Would be nice if they bumped up the power a bit; curious if/how they’ll update the interior; seems harder to do with the 48” screen. Would also like to see new wheel designs.

Glad to see blue return to the interior colors. I think the Navigator dropped Yacht Club and the latest BL themes were somewhat lacking color. This Aurora looks really good and glad it has some copper and mahogany colored to contrast it.

I loved Rhapsody Blue on the Continental but thought it would look so much better with some warm wood to contrast the blue instead of the silver trim.

As the title states I got married last Saturday and me and my wife both wanted a classic car for our photo shoot. Flash back a few months ago when I did the Lincoln Kennedy Blvd Cruise and I met a great guy there who had a white on white 67 convertible and he really came through for us. We don't have all the photos yet just a 'preview' but the ones we got so far look great. The car got a lot of attention everyone loved it especially my wife. The photographer asked if the car could be moved back into the sun for some of the other shots and the owner told me to go for it so I got to back it up and drive it forward a little, my first time driving a 60s Continental which was fun too. The first black and white shot my wife likes so much we have talked about getting it blown up and printed on a large canvas and hanging up somewhere in the house.

That seems excessive and how in the world do they expect one to remove the nuts at the side of a road?

Of course we know back before the 1980's that Cadillac had the lock on the biz. But during the 80's Cadillac lost their luster. In fact even Lincoln ads made fun of the fact you could barely tell the difference between a Buick, Olds or Caddy. Limo builders switched to Lincoln and the ubiquitous Town Car --just like it's counterpart Crown Vic in the police

segment -- became the new standard of luxury whether it was in Vegas or transporting high school grads to the prom. I don't see many Town Car limos anymore even though the owners held onto them as long as they could. Lincoln Navigators -- as well as other SUV makes -- and Lincoln MKT's appeared for a while but now it seems now that Hummers and truck chassis vehicles like the F650 are becoming the "standard." Anybody have any comments or observations they'd like to share?

So, I saw (but, didn't get a picture of...sorry) a Silver 2002 Mercury Sable LS this afternoon coming out of the bank ATM lane...driven by an older couple and it looks like they just got it washed...I thought, "Ya know what? That looks very nice..." It has been quite a while since there was a nice looking FoMoCo sedan tooling around and I found myself wondering about Ford's return to the sedan market....if done right, it will be met with success. Stock picture for reference.

Just bought a 1975 Lincoln with 460 engine. It has a mechanicle fuel pump (3 lines). When I drove it home it had no fuel leaks (1/4 tank of fuel). I filled it up to see if guage worked and noticed the fuel return line is leaking at the pump when engine is running. Do you think it's a vent issue? Maybe return line goes to deep in fuel tank?
Any ideas why? Thx

So last Saturday a page I follow called Lincoln Addict posted about the 8th Annual Lincoln Kennedy Blvd Cruise in Tampa, FL. He posted that it was open to all Lincolns and we would be a parade of Lincolns stopping at several locations and taking lots of photos then ending in Ybor City to grab lunch at the Colombia restaurant. I used to be part of a large car group the TCCA (Taurus Car Club of America) and used to go to meets all the time, when I had my Mercury Sable. After my Sable I had a Lincoln LS and joined the LLSOC (Lincoln Luxury Sport Owners Club) but by the time I joined I think the group was on it's last wind and never was part of any meetup sadly, I know some members are on this forum now a shame we never got together when I had my LS. Since then I joined other Lincoln groups but never was able to be part of any meet so for me this was an opportunity to get back into it. I reached out and asked if I could join with my MKZ and was told absolutely that it was open to any and all Lincoln vehicles. I got to work cleaning my MKZ and making it spotless and headed out. We had a great turnout about 30 cars total ranging from the oldest a 1940 V12 Zephyr to a 2018 Continental Reserve, in between a 50s Continental, lots of 60s Continentals, 70s Town Coupe, 90s Mark VIIIs, and my BL MKZ. Everyone was very welcoming, nice, and talkative about their cars. I even had a few check my car out and ask me questions about it. Most of them complimented the color (Chroma Cabernet) and the huge sunroof. I also had a few ask about the engine and they had no idea Lincoln even offered the 3.0TT in the MKZ and were really impressed with the power, one of the Mark VIII guys said to me "oh forget it you will blow my doors off that's almost too much power for me".

It was an awesome time and I 100% plan on doing it again next year. I told some of the folks there that my mom called me to finalize plans for Thanksgiving and asked if I had plans that weekend, I told her I was doing this, and she asked which car I was driving in the parade.... seriously???? everyone got a good laugh at out of that and one of the wives told me next year I better show up in the 04 Aviator 🤣

Of course if anyone is in FL and owns a Lincoln you all should join up next year it's a great group of people and great group of cars. We even had someone drive down from Ohio with the 61 teal Continental, though I think they had it on a flat bed. I believe they do this every year on the anniversary of the JFK Assassination but I think it's also the anniversary of JFK visiting Tampa too maybe? I know that was brought up during the ride when we stopped at UT to do a picture in front of the JFK statue.

Bought a wrecked 2024 Lincoln Aviator with dynamic suspension. Had to disassemble L rear suspension and now won't pump up. Not opposed to buying a scanner but having a hard time finding one to support this task.

77,000 miles. Engine light on, reading misfire C3. Changed all spark plugs. Four days later, engine light back on, misfire C3. Changed coil pack on C3. Filled with mid-level unleaded gas. Engine light back on after a week. Ran gas very low, used a bottle of fuel injector cleaner and filled tank. Engine light back on after a few days, still reading misfire on C3. Car occasionally sputters on start, rev engine slightly and stops sputtering. Otherwise running smoothly, usual pep. Not sure what to do. Anyone else have this issue, have suggestions?

Hi, I'm wondering if any Lincoln or Ford engineers or techs follow this site to check on problems or issues their customers are having with their vehicles. I'm having an issue with a 2025 Aviator & submitted a post about it about 3 weeks ago, & am having no luck.

Jeeze I never knew Lincoln had a LeBaron-can only associate the 1980s Chrysler K car with that name LOL

So fun fact-LeBaron was a custom coach/bodywork builder of the era...that makes sense now.
