Continental is a prime example of right car at the wrong time.

I thought for a long time the Hybrid would be for NG Mustang but recent indications are that a little further out than we all initially thought, even after news came out that it was delayed. The latest rumor (extra emphasis on RUMOR) is S550 will get another refresh for either MY2021 or MY2022, and that's when the Hybrid will make its debut.

Because the difference in cost of gas yearly between and Ecosport and a Fiesta is only $250 bucks a year at $2.85 a gallon gas. The difference from going from 15 to 25 is huge, but going from 25 to 35 isn't nearly as much. Plus, outside of a major international incident in the middle east, gas isn't going get over $3.50-4 a gallon outside of California-and that price is their own fault with all the taxes they have on fuel.

You're missing the point. Rural areas, which are largely truck country, seem to have very few Rangers in stock. My local dealer probably has 30+ F-series in stock, but no Rangers. A dealer 35 miles away has two. And I'd rather spend 30 days in jail than to live in an urban area.

We've delivered 4 Rangers in the past week to a new fleet account, 3-4 retail deliveries to customers in the past 6 weeks or so and have 3 retail orders scheduled for customers. Several of the retail orders are for SuperCab models with scheduled build dates in mid to late June! There was a lot of sticker shock initially because most of the inventory was Lariat SuperCrew's but that's changing now. We started out slow but the Ranger is now gaining momentum, slowly at first but picking up!
