  2. Well took these shots today at a Cape Cod bog in Harwich. The F-650 is a 6 yd dump (Cautillan 2000-2003) and the tractor is a 95 LNT 9000, Cummins powered. Both were immaculate. On my trip off Cape saw another LTA Aeromax pulling a similar 45' trailer as well as either an HN-80 or a Sterling off loading in a big bog in Wareham off Rt 25.

  3. I can't remember if the CX430 comes standard with the 2.0L EB, but I know AWD is standard. I seem to remember that the 2.0L EB was standard. But my memory is a little jumbled with the configurations for the Pickup/SUV combo which gets more entry-level specs with a 1.5L and FWD standard. There is a Hybrid version. The Hybrid on the Bronco was postponed indefinitely...but Ranger is going 2.7EB Hybrid by 2023 with the new model so I suspect a later Bronco will get an update for Hybrid. My ultimate impression is that the Bronco Scout is a more premium C-Segment utility unlike the B-Segment grade Renegade and Compass. There isn't that much that competes with it, it certainly has a unique take on the market which I think is encouraging. You can imagine the Bronco won't be that cheap. Either way, I'm sure Ford would love to sell more CX430s than Escapes, but I'm sure the pricing and lifestyle preferences will keep things pretty distinctive.

  7. Its not about what anybody "feels" we are talking economics. The company doesnt care how we "feel".The company has manpower needs and only so much $$$$ to offer to settle the contract. The UAW is obligated to represent ALL of its members. The union addressed some major concerns. So,you want the contract $$$ to go to employees who are leaving the company by retiring and less for the younger, lower seniority workers who will remain active?Lets see,I am a negotiator for the IUAW and I will tell the lower tier workers and temps,"All the $$$ is going to buyouts, you guys stay the same".Does that sound fair?Buyouts are not automatic. As for "feelings",you dont have to take the buyout.Instead of taking the buyout,"feel",wanted and needed which you are,you got a job ,with 200 hours of paid leave + all the company paid holidays, good health care!Besides Ididntdoit, how are we gonna 'run' without ya!!!!!! Once again,we are commenting on GM`s contract,Ford may not offer any buyouts.PRISONER {insert social security number}CAP----clang!

  8. Any ST version would end up almost identical to the Sport. That’s what happened with the Edge and the Explorer. And the MKZ already has the 3.0L available. It’s too bad they dropped the CD6 sedans - those would have offered lots of high performance options.

  10. You actually got a good point regarding the marketing. I do like the Sprint edition with similar packaging and striping on the three cars in the ad you posted. I just thought of something. With possibility of Mustang being thoroughly updated for 2021MY, wouldn't it be nice if Ford bring back the Sprint package for the Mustang and share the new package with content and striping with other vehicles like say... the Mach-E. This would intensify the 'inspiration' of Mustang to the BEV. I know they are not doing this but interesting that the old ad you showed did have the inspiration of Mustang shared onto the Maverick and Pinto before the Mustang ironically entered the next generation based on the Pinto/Maverick platform. lol The more I hear of the Mach-E and closer it gets to the reveal, the more excited I actually am about the Mach-E. I suppose I can accept the running horse logo and the similar styling, but if it's only called and refer to as Ford Mach-E (with no name of Mustang anywhere on it) but has marketing with ties to Mustang's inspiration, and done the correct way, Ford will have a huge home run with the Mach-E. Ford knows they have to be careful with the Mach-E and how it's marketed to honor the fans. They saw the recent uproar with the original Mach 1 name. There is a video on YouTube done by a pro-Mustang YouTuber where he actually spoke with Jim Hackett and Hackett said there was a time where Ford was lost with the Mustang in terms of marketing and styling so they remember to know to do it right with Mustang. He drives a Shelby GT350 and his wife drives a Mustang GT convertible. He suggested the YouTuber to talk to Bill Ford who is the company's biggest Mustang fan. So I'm confident Ford is doing right with the Mach-E while honoring the Mustang's true purists. The reveal is pretty much a month away if not sooner since November 18th is the start of Press Days for the LA Auto Show.

  11. Sure. It does however emphasize your point of having Mexico-built vehicles if South America market is to be contemplated. Otherwise, prices are just not competitve.

  12. So I decided to order the Tonno pro, just arrived this afternoon. Box looked to be in rough shape but it looked good when I opened it up. It is a quick install and it will be easy to remove if needed. It should be easy to sweep snow off versus sweeping out the box before bringing into the garage.

  13. Well,3 plants are closing and that means fewer employees but that is the nature of the business.Times change and consumer preferences change.I think some people are overly optimistic that their personal situation will be addressed.Other than that I think the GM contract is $$$$ Rich and i hope Ford gets $11,000 in new money for a signing bonus!

  14. From what I've seen it looks pretty decent on the economics. I'm sure the ones that hate it are always the doom and gloom ones. As well as the "I vote no, no matter what it had in it!"?
