All 3 Broncos (Bronco 4-door, Bronco 2-door and Bronco Sport) will be shown together as a family so as not to create confusion. The reveal event we were told was in the spring. So yes it could be NAIAS in June. Last I heard that either the 2021 F-150 or 2021 Bronco family will be at NAIAS in June and the other will get their own event, like the Explorer and Expedition did. That was as of back in October. I’m sure they chose what will be revealed at what venue by now. Bronco Sport will be built alongside the Fusion and MKZ in Hermosillo for about 6-9 months as they don’t have a concrete end date yet. Then Fusion and MKZ will be done, then the next gen Transit Connect and baby pickup will be in there in mid 2021 for the 22MY.5 points

I think you’re reading way too much into it3 points

By all accounts, they've already changed the frame to accommodate V engines. It was required for the new Bronco, and likely for the future success of the Ranger in NA.2 points

It’s amazing what you can do when you’re not constrained by an assembly line.2 points

I'm thinking you meant to quote a different post? I was just commenting on the wide-angle distortion in the video that made the block look like a scale model...1 point

Two things mentioned were the torque difference starts way down at 2,000 rpm and the dyno giving up at 90 mph right before the 7.3 V8 peaked out on HP The whole point of the 7.3 V8 was to behave like the 6.8 V10 and give tons of low end torque I think this point is easily missed when the reviewer is more interested in peak torque and horsepower.1 point

Ice-capades posted the end date for Fusion/MKZ this morning from this week's fleet bulletin. It's June 4th.1 point

Well, after a 3-week test drive, waiting on my 18's 1.5EB to be replaced, both my wife and daughter have said our '18 drives much better, and is a lot less noisy. Neither of them has any interest in a '20 as a future replacement. Maybe in a couple of years, they'll improve the NVH, and we can consider it. HRG1 point

All well and good...rest assured mach e (and whoever else follows) will have similar system and then it will be embraced ... only reason tesla gets railed on is because that have been become relevant and soon will be competition for whats left in detroit....its going to be comical pulling cars out of creek beds cause earlier that day the township removed a culvert....i do advise of caution here until facts are reported..1 point

It wasn’t intended to be scientific. It was just for entertainment. Personally, I thought the sight of the Heep throwing up twin rooster tails of snow was quite entertaining.1 point

Like Fuzzy pointed out, your reading way into this... The point (obviously unsuccessfully) that was trying to be made is that warning was made to the user because they shared IP with a known banned user and some of their posts where negative to Ford, which is well an indication of someone trolling or maybe that banned person created another account. Then that same user made a snide remark about that...and thus my comment was made-it was a warning for them to quit while they where ahead...I never told them to shut up or threatened to ban them. All those behaviors (to me at least) are indication that their behavior could quite possibly cross a line down the road. Like its been stated before...if you have any issue with the moderation of this site, you can leave, cause your picking a stupid hill to die on right now.1 point

Was going to stay out of it but one thing you are completely wrong with. It is NOT a public forum, there is no 1st amendment here. You have to sign up to be a member to post and you agree to abide by the rules. Again, not a public forum and you are NOT free to post whenever you feel like it because of your "right" that don't exist.1 point

Some of you need a lesson on what it means to be a moderator. Outside of deleting spam and stopping personal attacks (which have not occurred here) we’re just normal members. We don’t censor anything other than personal attacks and spam and we don’t abuse our power. And if you don’t like it here don’t log back in.1 point

So I'm a moderator and I'm not supposed to have an option? I'm going to call out people's bullshit being a moderator or not. There was no need to send a PM and the reason I posted what I did was to be transparent with what was going on with this person. Matching IP addresses from a known person that has been banned is going to raise some eyebrows. akirby was the first one to call him out as being EBFlex, who was the banned member with the matching IP address. You can't just have an option-you need to back your argument up with facts to back your option up or just say, hey this my option. Lots of people here seem to enjoy getting off on trollish behavior with certain comments, just to get a rise out of people. I don't abuse my moderation powers-99% of the time its dealing with spambots spamming the boards. I could very easily just ban whoever, but we don't do that here.1 point

It's not necessarily the software itself. Flawed as it is, it works as designed. They should not be allowed to sell it as a full self driving system because it's not, and people need to stop treating it as such.1 point

I don't think it will. It's only 500 bucks. They're not paying for the entire vehicle.1 point

...of course they are down. 100% of output was NA only to take the biggest advantage of tax credit induced demand in 2018. Now Tesla is trying to balance worldwide demand to ensure they don’t fall behind in key markets. With China going live and the Model Y preparing to ship, Tesla could hit, 130-140k, Q1- 150-160k- Q2, 200k+ Q3-4. That’s almost double this years output. Then, by end of 2021, CT starts to go live, with potentially another 200k+ per year and GF4 in Europe almost ready to go live, where they are likely to be moving over 1m units/yr total. None too shabby.1 point
