Just so we can keep track of the company’s response, here at CAP nothing has changed. There is no hand sanitizer anywhere and most restrooms have no hot water.2 points

The reason private insurance is so expensive is it has to cover catastrophic incidents. I’ve proposed that private insurance be capped at $10k or $20k per year and Medicare picks up after that. Sort of like the federal govt with natural disasters.2 points

Update! I can confirm that the covers over the tp in the men’s room have been replaced. We have to make sure the tp is safe but not the employees.1 point

Always amazing when bad weather hits, employees in plants are expected to show up. Have had it happen that employees come in, only to be sent home since trucks couldn't make it. Also try to contact an office type in Dearborn, and they are not in, working at home etc. Guess this will be the same. Break rooms/Oasis seem a major opportunity for exposure in the plant. Hope stores has plenty of wipes, we will need them. Bring some from home just in case.1 point

All kidding aside, there is enormous responsibility ,for being reliable and on time, placed upon workers doing shift work inside of manufacturing plants.I will be honest with you,if I had a sore throat and a cough and was not sure whether it was coronavirus,I would continue to show up for work.I am suppose to burn up all my precious vacation time every time I get a sore throat and cough? Getting absolutely no compensation in return ?While all around me schools and other employee`s are either staying home and doing work on the computer or have been told take a paid vacation from their employer? The president has declared a National Emergency. The union should insist, that suspect employees, be given tests and if found positive, they become eligible to go out on medical. All kidding aside, those of us who do shift work inside the plants are in a tactically, difficult situation.Being told to "wash your hands" ,while important,is doing as little as possible.Seperation from others is what is called for at this time.Good-Luck.1 point

I will hopefully let you know tomorrow, the truck was dropped off at the dealer ship this morning.1 point

DUH,its "impossible"?Show up to work for your shift on time, get inside there and MAKE A CAR.Give management any crap and your supervisor will call your mitty-man ,ON YOU!He-He-Ha-Ha, "your" union has been bought out and been kept "fat, dumb and happy" at the highest levels. In other words DIE MOTHER LOVER!As little as is possible will ever be done for U-a-w plant personnel.Be lucky you even have any job.Ford is outsourcing all work to CHINA! I wanna "work" at home from my computer! Now seriously Ford should suspend all production for 30 days.Grab some of that Corporate Welfare paid for by the future taxpayers ,cuz its all deficit spending.Maybe the warm weather will kill this freakin virus FROM CHINA.USA corporations love China.Slaves are FUN.Comminism + strict gun control = Free stuff from the government,YEA1 point

and please, configure the box so a 4'x8' sheet of plywood or drywall can be brought home, even if it's hanging out the back. HRG1 point

Speaking of sports, I'm pretty bummed NCAA canceled all tournaments. Not into March Madness. I'm into the Frozen Four. Our state's Hockey Team, UND Fighting Hawks, were ranked #1 in the Pairwise rankings. After a couple of years of mediocre play, they were doing really well. Vegas had them as the odds to win it all. Now it's all gone...1 point

Guys.... I think I have a problem, I might be obsessed. Or I'm psychic, either way I just had a dream where I got to "sit" inside the new Bronco! So Ford did something new, they implemented a VR "Sneak peak" of the Bronco where you actually get to sit inside the driver seat, but you're only given quick short flashes of the vehicle interior as you turn your head and look around. Here's what I know: The front seats fold back almost flat, the headrest converts into a pillow. Middle seats can fold down flat. There's 2 small 3rd row seats The instrument cluster was blue There's no more tablet infotainment system heated and cooled seats That's all I remember. I'll update you guys if I have any more visions.1 point

It's not about "seeing something in a vehicle I don't like" I can see where you see some vague similarities - namely a generally boxy shape, colored roof and a character line down the side. But stance, detailing, proportions, etc. are nothing alike Had you said looks just like an '08 Escape, I'm 100% on board, as that's literally what it is - a direct successor to the boxy Escape1 point

You make a good point but consider this: there's really nothing like that on the market today so why not give it a unique (and new) name?1 point

Its not cheap, but in the end its cheaper than a mildly equipped expedition, and has much more capacity.1 point

I'm sure Ford could always put the 5.2L CP V8 with supercharger from the GT500 in it...but you have to re-certify it for the A10. How about a Hybrid 3.5L Ecoboost? That might be easier to do...but the tuning factor of GT motor might be an issue in a truck.1 point
