  1. Another Bronco Sport out in the wild, looking pretty sharp. This shot reminded me a bit of the LR4... but I actually like what Fords doing a bit better here. For stock, the wheels are kinda sexy too.

  5. I'm not sold on the Escape's new styling, but that angle doesn't make it look bad at all. I kind of like that picture. The only new escape I saw in person was in white which looked kind of "blah". I'd like to see black or this color to pass judgment.

  7. The issue is that most airlines insist that pilots use autopilot except for take off and landing, Boeing / airbus successfully convincing airlines to stop pilots flying any planes, not just 737 Max.

  12. I'm not gonna lie... I'd have to at least check this thing out if I went to the dealer to look at the big Bronco. Even in camo this thing looks good. I'm actually going to go ahead and predict that a high-end version of this could sell very well! If not a Lincoln Bronco... What about a a Lincoln Bronco Sport?? Maybe this could slot below the Aviator.

  13. No, I have not. I came from a car without this option so any heat in the wheel is fancy for me.

  14. If you read the article they are using fans from seats and 3D printed parts. The work is also done at the experimental/test assembly plant, which I assume can tool up quickly for tasks like this.

  15. I was remembering ford was sending the platform to JMC after escape production ended in the US. Found an article here: https://www.autoevolution.com/news/ford-maverick-to-be-produced-by-jiangling-motors-in-china-21803.html Escape production ended in 2012. Landwind X7 production started in 2015. Seems kinda far, but who knows.

  16. I actually like everything but the wheels. Below are two Jeep renegade wheels that are almost identical to the two wheels we have seen on the bronco sport. I wish ford would quit copying Jeep and go down it’s own path. Besides that though, the profile of the vehicle looks really good.

  17. Everything is different compared to CD2 Escape, the 330/Territory is longer, wider and longer wheelbase. Could it be that Yusheng changed the old platform enough in size shape and toolkit that it's now unique?

  19. I would guess Everest in Argentina. Bronco will require CKD from Michigan and I just don't see Ford will bother with it. CKD from the US is lousy business and you risk labor relations with UAW who would rather Ford fully assemble the Bronco in Michigan for export. A VW badged Everest for South America also makes very good business case. Demand for affordable large 4x4 exists in South America and VW doesn't have anything like it.

  20. All the Chinese cars use the same Mitsubishi 4G engine so that doesn't mean anything. It is the cheapest engine available so if you are building a cheap car in China, you use that engine. Yusheng S330's origin is unclear but we know it was developed by Ford. The CD2 Escape theory is plausible because Ford Taiwan shipped the CD2 Escape tooling to China when production ended in Taiwan. But the evidence is circumstantial.

  21. Are we sure this is the Bronco and not the new Ford Sasquatch?

  22. I think this is the badlands trim. The order guide mentioned it had color bumpers. Looks pretty good. Also, looking at the original pic a bit more, it looks like there is a slight bump up starting halfway through the rear doors. Could this be part of the roof conversion that was mentioned? Maybe it’s just an optical illusion?

  26. Now your just gate keeping-Look at Jeeps line up and some of the products they offer-they aren't as capable as the Wrangler...the BrS will actually be able to handle some offroading much better then say a Jeep Renegade and will be equal to//better then other unibody FWD products on the market Oh can we call the Bronco Sport the BrS and not BS....BS is short for bullshit.
