  2. Or most likely, everything the Chinese government says is a lie.

  4. I hope president Trump tells China to just write off any debt we owed them for starters. Still pretty amazing that a virus that traveled around the planet never made it a few miles away to China's manufacturing and executive living city. Its as if they had some immunity to it..............or planned ahead. As to the killer virus Ohio now has 250'ish deaths with a population of around 12 MILLION. 250 is 0.00208333333% of 12,000,000

  5. OMG! Just hit 2100 miles today or should I say 2100 smiles. I have found my sanctuary to be everything I was hoping for and more. It is definitely not a quiet sanctuary, I use the Lincoln plus Alexa app to pull my favorite playlists and for 25 minutes each way to and from work folks must think I'm nuts. I might be belting out AC/DC or Elvis, who knows, who cares, it's my world. I find it fun to appear to be turning the wheel hard left and right as I dance my way down the freeway, leaving staying in the lines to the car. The seats are amazingly comfortable and after getting them dialed in perfect for my back, I get out refreshed and ready to catch fish without bait. If I had a house full of runaway children I too would retreat to my own little world and be very happy. You see that image of my fuel savings? Yeah, that's right $500 a quarter, $2000 a year in just gas I would normally use. 1600lbs of CO2 is like what my AC unit produces every 5 years. If this Aviator could just make Bacon and Eggs every morning it would be nirvana. Her beauty is easy on the eyes and interior velvety soft. The only issue I've had is it was two easy to hit 90mph and the c pillar obstructed my view of the State Cop coming on the on ramp. It was a minor issue due to a gentleman's agreement to withhold a little effort on the peddle.

  6. Even our 98 Expedition with the now primitive 4 corner air suspension would lower for exit. My guess is it doesn't lower fast enough for normal exit times so they just eliminated the exit part.

  7. Per the manual the vehicle shuts the feature down if it senses a key fob (or phone) more than twice without a start cycle. If the key is too close this happens frequently.

  8. If what we have seen so far in such a short time since its introduction is any indication the 7.3 may have a few performance fans as well. With its smaller width it would be interesting to see how it fits in a late 60s - early 70s Mustang, Fairlane, etc. Can you squeeze it in one of those without all the modifications necessary for a Coyote swap? We already know how it fits in a Fox body. Could also be a great alternative to the LS craze. The greatest issue that will make that unlikely is the limited availability.

  10. It's pure BS and the actual numbers back that numerical assessment up. The China economy was tanking and they nuked the world to drag everything else down. Thanks in part of having a president that is not a career politician or went into public service for personal enrichment for decades. The USA should not rely on foreign countries to supply our prescription drugs, manage domestic food supply /companies among other things we use. Lobbiests, politicians and corporate America shifted a lot of things away and padded their pockets and screwed our country and workers. Hopefully it's a wake up call.

  11. US Population - 328,200,000 Fatalities - 22106 point 00006736 percent Indiana Population - 6,732,000 Fatalities - 343 point 00005095 percent Now the numbers are just a little skewed because in the state of Indiana, if your shoot in the head but your cousin's sisters boyfriends brother in law might have been at a set (party) where someone had a cough and runny nose.... the death certificate will state "CoVid19". 748 Billion Dollar Military Budget for 2020, we are number one and I`m dam proud of that. BUT......Leave it to that country (the Chinese) to figure out how to fuck up the whole world (quit by accident, I`m sure) (with some inside help from the level of stupid US politics, I`m sure') with a method of making their people think it`s cool, en vogue and chic to eat shit that`s been laying around for day`s in its own fluids and shit. Then have high end peep`s believe it`s cool enough to say yeah, make mine a super sized order of some of that bat shit. We have yet to reach half of the 2018/2019 flu season total fatalities. 80,000 flu related deaths in 2018/2019 flu season. No stock market worries. No closing of schools. No shortages of masks. Politics' at best was just the typical finger pointing, boring. The media wasn`t interested in 80K flu related fatalities, cause they were trying to figure out what the House was trying to do when they were singing the shame on you Mr. President goofy shit songs. Then BAMM... 2019/2020 flu season is unleashed with the killer eat some more bat shit bug. makes you wonder just who`s been BammBoozalled or Hornswoggled

  12. They also include 48V systems hybrids. Which while technically a hybrid don't have huge real world efficiency gains, and are more about CO2 reduction.

  13. If this goes on much longer, big banks and credit grantors will be the ones to start to crumble first. If anyone thinks that Tesla will somehow make it through this unscathed, think again. Their house of credit cards will be the first to explode, awesome IP or not.

  14. I dearly love the Mach 2. Actually a bit surprised no kit car maker like Factory 5 ever made it a real thing.

  15. Maybe, maybe not. Deutsche Bank figures both GM and Ford will have liquidity problems in 16 weeks, if this current shutdown lasts much longer.

  16. And while it's not on your list of choices, I would return the Special Vehicle Team (SVT) name to US Ford Performance products. I think that team and brand had real recognition and meaning to Ford enthusiasts, and "Ford Performance" just doesn't evoke the same feelings (IMHO).

  19. Finally!!!!!!! Frickin!!!!! Finally...…!!!!!!! https://hotair.com/archives/allahpundit/2020/04/11/bill-maher-name-viruses-originated-china-exception/ How many times is this country going to be allowed to do this to the whole fricken world? If this country declared war on the world and used nukes would it be wrong or prejudice to say the frickin ICBM`s were launched from C-H-I-N-A ? Seeing as old uncle Joe is so protective of his son`s partner`s over in that country this might get uncle Joe really pissed off if he`s seen Bill`s post....

  20. No need, all our make up air is conditioned either from the fresh air vents or via the returns outside the negative air areas. Direct vent is necessary to get the dirty air through the HEPA system and outside without the risk of being returned to the whole building. Our long term patient survived and was discharged last night to a lot of fanfare. He was critical for a week on a vent but made it. All our other positives are either home cared for or already cleared.

  21. I think the jury is out on that. I think you will see that other car companies will be adding similar size but more rugged (or less rugged) compact CUVs as they go about their replacement cycles. Cars leave the line up and CUV replace them, on top of existing CUVs. You mentioned Toyota RAV4 which is beating Escape right now but Toyota is also planning to add a new model next year. It's rumored to bring back the Matrix nameplate on a CUV that is roughly the same size as RAV4, maybe a little smaller. And there will be a new Venza as well to complement the new Highlander. So everyone is doing the multiple CUV entry thing because the market is growing.

  22. LOL, I love the electricity for my Aviator, our power comes from Nuclear 1 up the road. I've been getting 93-133 MPGe depending on how I drive everyday going to the hospital. We have been converting an entire column (7 floors) to negative air to accommodate hundreds of positive patients. We have one today and have been up to as many as three. Thankful it hasn't bloomed into what they thought, but if it does we are very prepared. For those of us in engineering it has been lots of overtime and mind stimulating when they ask if certain things can be done.? Ask any engineer if it can be done and he'll say heck yeah, then they'll ask if you can pay for it. Thankfully they have the money to pay for what they asked for.
