  3. I want to read more studies about it as they come out. I feel like the mortality rate of COVID-19 will fall somewhere between 0.2% and 0.3 percent. A little more dangerous than the flu but not as contagious as we first believed and definitely not as contagious as the flu, especially for kids under 18.

  5. Are you fucking kidding me? Are you using a virus to prove your point? I'll play the math game with you: Total car accident related deaths in 2019 in NJ: 563 Total COVID-19 deaths in New Jersey as of April 27th: 6,044 There are alot more people driving (well used to be) then exposed to the virus. The thing is that your NOT going to completely eliminate deaths in accidents and the use of AVs are going to come with their own costs to society that might just outweigh their usefulness to the general public. Your basically telling people to give up there "freedom" to make society a better place. There is no "stick" for force people to go that route. Its going to take at least 2-3 generations of people to make them want to do this. Cars are still status symbols for the foreseeable future...i don't see that changing for another 30-40 years...maybe by then we might have AVs. The whole thing is overplayed, much like tech sector for the past 10 years or so.

  6. Squared off body and a size that will be close to the original Ranger. I'm thrilled, I'm going to need a bigger garage.

  8. Dammm ididnatdoit give it a break.... Reading over the last year or so of posts your expectations have not come to the surface many times as facts. How many times did you expect the C crew to end? The C crew wasn`t coming back after the first of the year 2017, 2018, 2019.... 2020 launch was the end of the C crew... after the 14 to 16 months of down time for the 2020 retooling the C crew wasn't going to return... The SHO was going to close and the C crew was done. But then all those other expectations of "I" got to get out of here, "I`d" give the separation money back just to get a date to leave. Now you`ve got all types of time on your hands soooo lets just keep sitting in the dark in front of the laptop contemplating and coming up with those old expectations over and over but, now on a full time basis? I take it old habits are hard to break? Enjoy your lock down, C crew is too not exactly how I expected ididntdoit to be spending time after walking the green mile.....

  9. Wouldn’t OAC make more sense - essentially replace production lost with the end of the Flex/MkT and likely shares more with CD4 Edge than C2 Vehicles at Hermosillo.

  10. I disagree, the Outback is absolutely a wagon. The Outback is 2" shorter than an Edge, probably 6" if you exclude that ridiculously tall roof rack.

  14. Ahh Decker, When I was just out of high school, many moons ago, I had the privilege to see Hal Holbrook perform his one man show depicting Mark Twain. It was great. About five years ago I met with a few cousins from across the states to do some research on our family history/genealogy, in Hannibal, Missouri. Found out that Hal Holbrook was there the week before with his Mark Twain show so I just missed it. He has since retired that tour.

  15. Fairly sure those are TCIPT (TurboCharger Intake Pressure Temp) not MAF. The connector is similar and it is located in the cover of the air cleaner. But I've been wrong before....

  17. Why the screaming hell did Ford give NA the "differently abled" nose, and give the better one to other markets? For that matter, who the hell signed off on the junk snoot we have here? Fire their ass(es)!!!

  18. Took a look at one of the local Subaru dealership and 95% of the Outback models where in the $30-40k range. I wouldnt read into the pricing too much on this Ford product, since it should be right around that. As for Ford competing with Subaru-I’m sure they are planning on using the same techniques they are going to use against Jeep with the Bronco Sport and Bronco. Ford identified these markets that have limited competition and a decent profit margin-that’s why they are going after them.

  20. They should be technically safer, but unless there is a flip of a switch moment, people will bully AV cars. Insurance could be the stick to force people to get a car like that, but your likely to have pretty nasty pushback if that happens.

  21. Well, it should be. They've been building the exact same truck for what, 10 years? They should have the bugs worked out by now!
