  1. Given the current climate I’m ready to see one with a camo’d box on top indicative of a turret!

  3. Pretty sad the top people making top salaries STILL stole more. "Let them eat cake" comes to mind. If there was an opt out option to fully opt out I would check it off. The actual corruption at the top is bad enough but getting the "The UAW endorsed Biden" is hard to swallow. Forced membership is a pretty sad way to keep or get new members.

  4. I opened this expecting to find prototype Broncos or Bronco Sports, because I read "early" as "early builds." This was a pleasant surprise!

  5. Well these two beauties are sitting on a transporter this morning here in central Mass. I stopped and grabbed a couple of shots. They look very similar-no 289/302 badges so I'm assuming 6 bangers. Someone is paying to get these two beauties from NH to Utah!

  7. I'll believe the Ford/VW alliance when we actually see a product plan that will actually make it into production. Until then, it's just a lot of PR and speculation about what the capital investment will yield.

  8. I know what ya mean.UAW membership is not what it was even 20 years ago, meaning it does not have the benefits.I was discouraged when the IUAW allowed Ford to gobble-up the extra $600 a week in Federal Money.I dont want to argue and I dont have all the answers because I am not a "suit" sitting in an office with a college degree down on Jefferson Avenue. The answer I got from my Local was,,,,"Well in the future if Ford needs to pay us SUB,then they will have the money".Okay,so the IUAW totally sided with the company with no fight at all.Couldnt even split the extra Fed money 50-50?Bottom line is Ford got subsidized from having to pay us the full price of SUB and,,,,get this,,,,with our tax dollars.Another point and this is from my personal circumstance and it involves the additional $1200 federal stimulus payment.I did not qualify because I worked O.T. and that extra money I "earned" placed me over the limit.Well the way I see those extra stimulus payments is like an additional Profit Sharing or Bonus check.Bottom line is our UAW contract, that we are told is so STUPENDOUS and places us so far ahead of the average Joe may not be so great after all.The pension is paltry and at age 65 you go on Medicare. The IUAW seemed more interested in cutting deals for themselves than representing us and this filtered down to the Locals,Union officers sticking their fingers the pie. When I need a clear answer about a program or retirement or a quick response from a union officer,GOOD-LUCK with that. The people that are put in charge of union administration are usually political appointees who dont know much, talk to you out of the side of their mouth and the answer always seems to be,"GO ASK THE COMPANY,ya know I go hunting with the Local President".Problem is if you opt-out you may not be eligible to participate in certain programs. Also you may be targeted and may have your stuff messed with or tires slashed.

  9. Hi jcartwright. I like Meguiar's Gold Class Liquid Carnauba wax. They also make a Gold Class Liquid Synthetic. And paste wax versions off those too. Plus professional quality waxes. I get at least 6 months out of a wax with it still beading. For example, I waxed my MKZ in late March and the water is still beading after a wash or rain. Don't know the max life, since I wax before then anyway. Keep in mind I also hand wash with Meguiar's Liquid Gold Car Shampoo. No automatic car washes for me. That keeps the wax lasting longer. I also blow the car off with my leaf blower in the morning after rains (as long as it is not going to rain again that day), before the sun hits the car. You would be surprised how much longer you can go between washes if you do that. It gets the water off the car before the mineral deposits and acids in the rain can concentrate down and spot/etch the paint. I am sure others will have their own good recommendations, so let us know how you make out and good luck.

  11. Correct, cprotecting the names does not mean that Lincoln will come to Europe, competitors are not above using certain names in other regions. Mitsubishi uses Highlander forcing Toyota to use Kluger.

  18. ANNOUNCEMENT & NOTICE TO BOF MEMBERS… After nearly 35 years managing the new vehicle inventory and running the in-house advertising agency for the Dealer Principal’s automotive and non-automotive (real estate development, air charter, Arabian horses, etc.) interests over the years, in addition to my 15-year history in the entertainment business along with my advertising production background, I have resigned my position effective September 5, 2020. I will still be available to provide services to the dealership as needed but don’t know how long afterwards that I’ll have access to the FMCDealer.com portal, the Ford Fleet site, etc. I’ll continue to provide my services here on BOF for as long as possible but wanted to let everyone know that my status will be changing soon. I’ll upload the revised Ford and Lincoln Order Guides that are available as of September 1st and update the Production Scheduling Information that I provide weekly as long as I have access to that information. The same applies to providing vehicle Window Stickers. I won’t disappear and will continue to provide whatever assistance I can to help the BOF members. Now after all these years I have to become a customer and decide what to do for a vehicle to drive! I’m considering a “D Plan” 2-year, low mileage lease on the 2020 Mustang EcoBoost Fastback I’ve been driving (#101A, Automatic, Safe & Smart, Navigation). The other option is a 2020 EcoSport SES or Titanium AWD w/Navigation only because of the $6-7,000 incentives being advertised by Ford. I’ve driven nothing but Mustang’s for my company car since 2004 and driven GT’s 95% of the time but now I’m looking at it all from a consumer perspective… monthly payments, insurance costs, taxes, etc. I’ll probably do a deal on the Mustang but will still have to consider the options even though I really hate the idea of driving an SUV.

  20. The virus narrative is scheduled to expire on November 4th. Without COVID-19 panic Democrat Party cannot easily achieve ‘mail-in’ voting; which they desperately need in key battleground states in order to control the outcome. Without COVID-19 panic Democrat Party cannot shut down rallies and political campaigning efforts of President Trump; which they desperate need to do in key battleground states. Without COVID-19 panic Democrat Party cannot block the campaign contrast between an energetic President Trump and a physically tenuous, mentally compromised, challenger. Without COVID-19 panic Democrat Party does not have an excuse for cancelling the Democrat convention in Milwaukee; thereby blocking Team Bernie Sanders from visible opposition while protecting candidate gibberish from himself. Without COVID-19 panic Democrat Party does not have a mechanism to keep voters isolated from each-other; limiting communication and national debate adverse to their interests. COVID-19 panic pushes the national conversation into the digital space where Big Tech controls every element of the conversation. Without COVID-19 panic Democrat Party cannot keep their Blue state economies easily shut-down and continue to block U.S. economic growth. All thriving economies are against the political interests of Democratic Party. Without COVID-19 panic Democrat Party cannot easily keep club candidate Joe Biden sealed in the basement; where the electorate is not exposed to visible signs of his dementia. Without COVID-19 panic it becomes more difficult for Big Tech to censor voices that would outline the fraud and scheme. With COVID-19 panic they have a better method and an excuse. Without COVID-19 panic Democrat Party cannot advance, influence, or organize their preferred presidential debate format, a ‘virtual presidential debate’ series.
