  1. I do believe I have posted a shot of my youngest sons EB, so on a related note, a friend of his who is very active in the EB community here in New England was contacted by an ad agency looking for an EB with the right "patina". He put the guy in touch with my son and here is the finished product. My son conditioned it that his pal would be the only one doing the driving. EB's seem to be a favorite these days of the advertising guys. https://www.facebook.com/sparkslawoffices/videos/2932313720377987/?vh=e&extid=0

  2. Does that really surprise you? It's the ultimate self fulfilling prophecy. Customers: WE WANT MANUALS! OEM: Here you go (available in base models only) Nobody buys them OEM discontinues manuals Customers: What happened to the manuals?! OEM Nobody bought them! Customers: But it was base model only OEM: Well if people bought them we could offer them in higher trim levels... *rinse, repeat*

  5. Don't mean to be negative here but given how many times Ford has changed plans in the past few years, maybe Ford is not sure what exact types of BEVs it wants to build. I can imagine a situation where Ford scopes a product envelope and develops the chassis, motor and drive, battery modules while leaving the top hat structure as generic modules until a decision is made.

  7. A quick look at Ford's Vehicle Locator shows (17) 2020 F-600 Chassis Cabs within the closest 300 dealerships, furthest being 180 miles away... 1 Retail Order, 2 Stock & 14 Fleet. Oldest unit manufactured 50 days ago. Some fleet units may have been ordered for specific fleet accounts but not to be delivered until a future date. There is no F-650 inventory showing in the same search area. OTD (Order-to-Delivery) for bodies, etc. to be installed can be a month or longer plus installation time. Inventory, regardless of order type, will show in Dealer's inventory until reported to Ford as sold and delivered. There's little reason for a dealership to advertise F-600 unless they're a large dealership and have extra inventory or inventory that was ordered for a customer that cancelled for some reason. Dealers cannot cancel inventory orders once they're scheduled. Hope this helps!

  8. I guess I numb to anything FCA does. Jamming the Hellcat into everything, doesn't really move the needle for me. Sure straight line performance is impressive but unless you really are taking this off road, it seems like a giant compromise to drive on the road. You can somewhat say the same thing about the Raptor but it seems to be a better daily. and doesn't require premium fuel.

  10. Considering Ford was going to call the Focus Active a "crossover", I'm sure they'll brand it as one.

  11. Good news on Class 6. Saw new dump today pulling a tag trailer. Judging by the body I would say it was a 6-8 yd so iot was probably 33,000 lb. 750. Also Roush announced the were building 7.3 750's with then propane package.

  13. Ford class 6 sales have recovered to pre-covid levels, so whatever Ford is doing is working Class 7 is only a few hundred.

  14. Man Jalopnik has fallen pretty far. It's hard to find anything they publish that isn't written with a clear agenda anymore.

  15. Actually, I checked this yesterday, as I'm sure you can do, but it is solid yellow in the HUD while the mirror indication flashes. My truck also yells in a Brooklyn accent, "Aaaayyyy, 'smatta witchu?"

  16. Thank you bzcat sir. Please give members of this forum who can't or won't understand the luxury vehicle market some slack. This is a Ford forum, and Ford itself has struggled to understand luxury vehicle market for a very long time.

  17. I’m surprised that someone hasn’t commented to defend this and Tesla. Then deflect and point out Ford flaws. Then saying Tesla is the future and Ford is doomed. That’s pretty much how every Tesla thread goes.
