  1. Yes sir ESP08. Prior to Mach-E's unveiling, it was a legitimate concern because all crossover type vehicles had styling that was ugly, boring, or both. However, Mach-E ended up being the best looking crossover ever, with styling elements from other Mustangs. As a result, Mach-E enhanced the Mustang name rather than dilute it.

  2. Unrelated to F-150 BEV, but apparently there was a "Thunder" under initial development off the 2nd gen Lightning - it was an Expedition with the Lightning powertrain/suspension, and seemingly only didn't get to production because they did it a year or two before the '03 redesign.

  3. Branding a high-performance, fully electric F-Series a Lightning is very fitting. The Mustang Mach-E's backlash came mainly from branding a crossover a Mustang, people felt they were diluting the Mustang name.

  4. lol, I started reading the article and it talked about Ford just stopping building the factory in Mexico and was like, uh what?

  5. So if it has to be pulled apart, then have it fixed. Quit crying because something mechanical failed. It happens.

  6. Yeah, there's definitely slim pickings in the Fort Lauderdale area compared to noromal.

  7. I mean, I'm getting the bigger one and I know I won't do a ton of off-roading in it. I plan on doing more than I do now (none lol), but it'll still primarily be an on-road vehicle for me. Yeah, it's unfortunate they couldn't have launched them together.

  8. Performance is what makes it worthy of the Mustang sub family name.

  9. It was also during the Explorer roll over fiasco and Ford stated they would not do a high performance suv as a result. Took 10 plus years before the Explorer sport was introduced. An Expedition with lightning components would have been a big hit. Same with a supercab or supercrew configuration.

  12. I wasn't given one and they would be crazy to give a date with the delays that keep happening... Hopefully, vendor production picks up substantially from now through the end of year. If there are less 2022 Heavy Duty Trucks built than the normal production, they should be classified as limited editions and hold even more resale value than ever before. Right? (wishful thinking...)

  16. Yeah, I've been pushed to a '22 because I'm a Wildtrak Lux and black painted roof, so I feel your pain lol. I doubt a Warthog is in the budget, as I'm pushing it as is already. Though leasing could be interesting as a way to hope they add features down the road.

  17. Looking forward to Sandy Munro and his engineering firm doing a teardown and profitability analysis of Mustang Mach-E, like he did a couple years back for Tesla Model 3. Munro and Associates is among the best in the world at doing this kind of work.

  20. The sales manager is concerned about you receiving spam e-mail and that's his excuse for not including your e-mail address as part of your retail order? Lazy excuse for not doing what's expected!

  21. Bronco does have turn signals in the mirrors. Not on all trims, but they are an option. I do agree with you on your other points, and I'm disappointed a lot of it is missing at the pricepoint.

  22. One of the few things we can all agree on.

  23. The number of Bronco's going off road is going to be very small too. Which is why you go after those customers, they will pay for things. The Bronco is pretty pricey for what you get and the amount of features it doesn't have it actually surprising at the top end for a 60K vehicle. From little things like no cupholders in the back without Leather, no power seats on the 2 door, to missing tech and features that has been out for years/decades -- no lane centering, no stop and go adaptive cruise, no full digital IP, no rain sensing wipers, no memory seats/mirrors, no heated seats in the back, no cooled seats, no blue cruise, no power-folding mirrors or even turn signals in them, even the Ford staple keypad isn't properly done, etc. Its missing features and at that price point and the Jeep Wrangler has a lot of those. The materials in a lot of the areas are the same as my now 11 year old truck and the interior options and trim levels are crazy and confusing. I'm not sure if this program had a bunch of cost cutting or if Ford knew they could make a lot of money because we were so excited for the Bronco to come out and make a bunch of money and just leave everything off. Compare that to the MACH-E that is on par feature for feature with everything in that segment and blows away the segment with the interior materials, fit and finish is the best of any Ford I've been in. MACH-E is Ford's best work, I suspect the Electric F-150 will be similar. The Bronco will be good vehicle but will not be earth shattering in the engineering dept. and honestly some of the engineering is sub-par compared to other Ford vehicles.

  25. Thanks again kyle for sharing the Sandy Munro video series on Mustang Mach-E. Munro is a legend in automotive engineering circles for his fanatical attention to detail, so the praise Munro gave Mustang Mach-E is a big deal for sure.

  27. From Tuesday's Autoline Daily, Tesla's profit comes from selling EV credits and from the selling off some Bitcoin they had. They did not make any money from the sales of their vehicles. "One reason investors may have been looking for more is that Tesla earned $518 million from selling EV credits. And it pocketed over $100 million from selling some of its Bitcoin stash. If you take those numbers out, then Tesla actually lost money on its core operations. So some investors may be waiting for Tesla to post a profit simply from selling cars."

  30. 2 things I would change... 1. Grill texture looks too much like a cheese grater like someone posted above 2. 3rd window, way too similar to the Fusion's. I like the current MKZ's 3rd window better.
