Well my shipping date has updated-looks like I'll finally see it after 15 months of putting in my reservation and three and half months after it was built

I pretty much find myself saying this about almost every CUV as well with this. The Edge was a bit more sporty, but this looks a little more expensive but overall "Zzzzzz".

I don’t think there is any doubt that’s where it was. But at this point it doesn’t matter. It’s impossible to prove where the infestation happened and insurance has already covered it. Best to move on at this point.

You think maybe you could have led with that? All you said was it had 36 miles on it and some surface rust all of which is relatively normal. Obviously it sat at the factory waiting for a part (microchip or something else). But if it took a few weeks to smell something I’d say it’s questionable whether they got onboard at the factory or at home.

Absolutely not. Dealerships are independent businesses and dealership employees are not Ford employees. Common misconception.

Sorry, you’re so right. Fat fingered it. Actually, 0777 is my Limited I originally ordered in June that has been stagnate so 0778 was a new build I ordered and haven’t heard anything about. Now I’m really worried that my dealer is going to sell it out from under me. Do you happen to be able to see a vin for 0778? That would be a ridiculous thing to do - besides we aren't a dealer... or didn't you read the forum description? As in: "This service is being provided by Ford employees on a voluntary basis." Just blindly giving out my contact info on the internet - what could possibly go wrong?

My truck was ordered 4/12, built 9/16, shipped 9/18 with an ETA 10/9-10/15. I thought for sure mine would show up a couple weeks early since were in central MI, but I was wrong....still waiting. A week after shipping, Cyberdman didn't list any rail information, and a week ago, my dealer said it didn't show any rail info either. They must have just printed the shipping label on the 18th, and stuck it in the back 40. I hope it has left Kentucky by now, but I need to wait till after 15th to ask on here again, so I'll probably bug the salesman tomorrow. Wouldn't it be nice if Ford sent a $3500 PCO to anybody waiting more than 6 months? Maybe we should put that in the wish list section

I would expect nothing less, they are a branch of the government after all and at this point the government's sole purpose is to grab more and more power.

Ford has painted their self portrait as this loving, caring, and all-inclusive entity for some time now. With the help from other larger than life loving, caring, and all-inclusive entities. Does Ford do good things? For sure. Ford gives money and products to good causes? Without a doubt. Is this the true perception of the Ford company? Of course it is, just ask any book of facers, Twitters and etc…etc. The dogs will tell you perception is everything in business. Pandemic? Yeah ok something is going on. Did the book of faces or twits grab the opportunity to be loving, caring, and all so inclusive to help their “customers”? Of course, they did. Did Ford and all the larger than life companies fall in line to love and care? Most certainly, as long as the perception was going to pay off with, profit. Of course I`m using “Ford” as a generalization because this is a Ford Employee forum, (lord knows I don`t want to piss off the Doc) because you could plug in any number of perception seeker in it`s place and still be right on the money. Jab or not to Jab… it`s not a question it`s a choice. Ford will follow the dollars no matter what, their perception, equals dollars. Go along with the customers (government committee`s) that buy thousands at a time Rangers to be sent to Afghanistan (and given away) and it`s get the perception you care about the employee`s welfare and make it look like you`re moving towards making the jab a requirement. And… all is good on capital hill and the dollars keepa flowin. Remember, this is all an outward appearance, a good tone on the nightly news and of course all those “LIKES” on book of face. In reality, let Ford shut one money maker down for the lack of the jab and the perception will change and the spin is on. It`s inevitable, someone is going to talk. There`s no need to look for or to think hard on the reason any person step`s forward is coming forward with perception clarity. Sheepies are as sheepies do, Big Business is as Big Business does, and capital hill is just a perception…the book of faces knows this oh so well.
