  1. Excellent suggestion Stray Kat. Could you create a post with your recommendation in the "Site Feedback" portion of the site? I think the owner of Blue Oval Forums reviews those posts and may act upon your feedback. https://blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/forum/35-announcements-site-feedback-help/

  2. Why do you guys do business with these crappy dealers and let them get away with this? Take your business elsewhere or at least make them do their job.

  3. Just as the title asks gang, why is there no EV section on the BON forum ? EV’s are the indisputable future and yet the topics can only be scattered among the various existing forums.

  4. What are you guys griping about? I ordered a F350 Platinum CC DRW 4x4 with AS, bedliner, 5th wheel prep, strobe lights and a disco ball on 11/09/21. Order confirmed 11/10/21. Sent to plant 11/11/21. I just got a email from Ford today 11/12/21 saying “Built”. awaiting shipping. So I should have my new truck by this Friday.

  8. Long story short it’s the second truck I’ve bought from them, first was a raptor in 2017 and they sold it for invoice not msrp + 20,000 or 30,000 we were seeing out here in Cali. Buying experience was so good I went back here for another killer deal and I get to drive back and see all of America so it’s a win win for me.

  9. very well put. My issue...and Ill guess Im not the only one...is NOT having the ultimate choice on how to spend MY money...especially on something that is the exact opposite of what it claims to be....environmentally clean with little carbon footprint.....

  11. Hey gang I propose a dedicated EV forum section. The temperature is rising quickly in that arena and I think we Ford aficionados would enjoy a one stop shop to catch up on EV news and happenings. What are your thoughts?

  12. Stray Kat's suggestion is excellent. With both Ford and the global automotive industry rapidly on its way to 100% electric vehicles, a forum or section dedicated to EV news and discussions of EV made by Ford and other automakers would be nice.

  13. Agreed. Maybe try calling Ford marketing?

  15. My IT guy just stopped laughing.....as a registered "White Hat", he knows his way around things - not only is it going to be possible, it already is on several different levels. In his words, "If it connects, it can be hacked."

  16. Thanks. Interesting to learn more about this process each day. No matter what, God is good and we’re all blessed to be sitting here waiting for an order!

  19. Thanks so much for sharing and I am glad it arrived. What a unique delivery experience. I know first hand what a blessing it is when you finally find a trustworthy dealership with a great sales staff - that is really hard to give up. Bonus for you too - because of that you got some really good time behind the wheel with it on the road already.

  22. Thx- Dealers who advertise in the two monthly truck rags covering New England continue to show few 600's in inventory. Plenty of 650 dumps. 2023 order guide still shows no air brake option for 650/750 when equipped with gas . Still say the both 650750 numbers will jump once air available with the 7.3.

  24. Even Joe Biden wouldn’t sign up to a commitment on a deadline to end burning coal, political reality is that it takes time to get viable replacements for base load generation. There’s no point to everyone switching to EVs and just burning more coal…..hybrids and PHEVs can reach more people and lower emissions almost immediately without impacting on the power grid, why not do that until battery tech improves to the point of 500 mile range quick fill. Why not settle on a safer Thorium based reactor design that could be multiplied across the country or even the world, give the planet a rest for 100 years and maybe recover.

  26. That's a fair point. Sometimes government does push things in a positive direction (surprisingly lol), i.e. safety measures, etc. I know for me, I'm not anti-EV. I've driven a Mach-E and enjoyed it (though I'd prefer the GT which wasn't out at the time), but I'm not ready for a BEV yet. While daily driving it'd be fine, taking road trips would be much longer, and more importantly charging could be an issue - in my current living situation a charger could be installed, but should I move to a condo which is a possibility, I'd have nowhere to charge it. A buddy of mine considered a Model 3, but lives in an older condo building that doesn't have that infrastructure, so he went a different route. Will things get there? Sure. But they're definitely not there now, and may not get there in the timeline laid out.

  27. Huge thanks to Cyberdman for tracking this through the whole process. Flew from California to Pennsylvania on last Wednesday to pick it up and start the road trip home with it! Hit our first snow storm in the Rocky Mountain's after leaving pikes peak too.

  32. Putting this in the Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum because Ford has 2 winners, Mustang Mach-E and F-150. Ford is the only automaker with more than 1 winner this year. There will be a ceremony for winners at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan during Automotive Tech Week on November 16. It’s All About Utility on Wards 10 Best Interiors List | WardsAuto Looks like Jim Hackett's design thinking continues to spread throughout Ford, including the departments responsible for vehicle interior design.

  34. If the vehicle was actually delivered to the dealership, the Vehicle Visibility report would confirm the delivery. In addition, the dealership would have the Bill of Lading from the car carrier firm which would also show the delivery date and time, as well as whether it was delivered "STI" (Subject to Inspection) or was inspected and signed for by the dealership's representative. If it was damaged when received by the dealership, the damage codes would be noted on the Bill of Lading and the carrier driver would have shot and sent photos to the carrier's office at the ramp. If the vehicle was received and then sold to another customer, that information will be available in Ford's records including the Smart Vincent application at the FMCDealer.com portal which would show the customer name, address and date of that the vehicle was delivered to.
