Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from another....2 points

Your order is already submitted and you’re at priority 2 and if that’s the lowest of all your dealer’s orders then your truck will be the first selected if and when allocation is available AND your truck is buildable.2 points

Yes, there will eventually be a date under "in production" once your build day comes. My truck went "in production" on 3/7 even though my build week wasn't until 3/14. I checked the tracker daily since I didn't know my actual build day. I checked the tracker yesterday morning and still nothing. Checked for BCE code, sure enough I had them. Went back to the tracker and then had a date of Sunday 3/20. I received my built email this morning and now have the date of 3/21 under built. I would keep checking for BCE codes as it seems to be quicker to update than the tracker.2 points

Got email scheduled for 3-28. Then changed to 4-4 then another email stating 3-28 scheduled build date. I meant window sticker not VIN. I have a VIN2 points

I normally have my wife to tell me I'm "getting too close to the guy in front of us, slow down". Hahaha, don't need something automated.2 points

Well what do you know, my truck showed up at the dealer this morning! Had to make a call on the tire size pretty quickly, settled on 295/65x20 after talking through it with the guy at the dealership. Guess I can always swap them out for a different size down the road if I want to.1 point

That's great! Mine was built 2/8 and arrived at the dealer 2/22, so about 2-weeks if all goes well. Good luck.1 point

Yeah....April, May, and June are the biggest sales months of the year excepting December, and not good that inventory is so dismal and not improving. Most people are used to seeing vehicle on lot they like and driving it off next day or so. Most don't have the patience to order and wait a year or more for it. Many will cancel and buy used or from another auto company. "Thank you for your patience" is a phrase that rings hollow to many.1 point

According to ice, an email can only be entered on a retail order? So what it think happened, since I got a confirmation email, that they put in my retail order and sometime after changed my priority to a stock order that will never get built. I suspect the same happened to you.1 point

It's too early to know and will depend on a number of factors. In addition, Ford has not yet released the ordering, scheduling or production timeline for the 2023MY Maverick.1 point

I already made my appointment for May 2ed. In hopes my truck arrives by then... I am getting the windshield done with ceramic. Not once did I think to ask. I just got off the phone with xpel boise. They said they have installed ceramic tint on several tesla windshields. And they have never had a report of any sensors or functions not working.1 point

After waiting almost 8 months, an April Fools joke was my first thought with a build day of April 1st?1 point

I think I know what is holding up my Antimatter Blue King Ranch now, they can’t find the paint. Everyone knows Antimatter is invisible, lol…kind of like that truckload of unobtainium metal I’ve had on order for ever but still waiting.1 point

I know right! After all this time finally somewhere my actual truck is being built. Very exciting.1 point

That's a good point I guess it didn't occur to me that someone would be asking THAT frequently haha. Thanks for the update! Hopefully I'll have pictures of the car to post soon.1 point

Its done, both parties have agreed to binding arbitration. This is most likely the final outcome if things had progressed as they were. Nice to see cooler heads prevail.1 point

Finally the truck is finished. Carli 2.5 pintop, deaver leafs, fuel covert 18”, wheels, 37” ridge grappler (maxxis does not make a razor at 37x18), Baja designs lights, dual arb, bed liner, and bakflip tonneau. First trip was to north padre national seashore for spring break. 60 miles south to the Mansfield cut fuel covert 18x9 with 37x12.5x18 ridge grappler, did well in the sand @ 30 psi our campsite @ mile 8, perfect. No neighbors!1 point

Here’s a couple pictures for you so you can get an idea. You’ll be ok with a 1.5” level. I am running 20x10 with -18 offset and nitto 35x12.5. From the pics you can see it sticks out but it’s not much more than 1” if even that. If you go 20x9 you’d be nearly flush.1 point

congrats on getting your BDE codes, that should be worth Fiddy Cent...I'm waiting on my codes, mine is scheduled to be built the week of 3/21, this week, I don't know the build day, I have not asked cyberdman to track it, figured I'd just wait since it will hopefully happen very soon.1 point

Thanks, not surprised. I have a list on constraint items on this one. Will be lucky to get a 22!1 point

I order Aug 24. I was told by my dealer in early Jan that they were contacted by the regional rep as to why I hadn't been scheduled and told me that I should consider deleting spray in bedliner, 5the wheel prep, & tonneau cover which were at that time 20-30 weeks before I would even be looked at to be scheduled. I deleted all of those options and was schedule in the next couple days and it was just built this past weekend awaiting shipping now. 250 Platinum CCLB1 point

Thanks so much cyberdman for checking so quickly. akirby, thank you as well. Wonder what it could be with an Expedition, maybe something with the Stealth Performance Package. Dennis1 point

Yeah, the 5.0 badge does seem to be missing. My '83 Convertible 5.0 was not a GT, but a GLX and still had most of the goodies like special Michelin tires with slot wheels, 5 sp. manual, and traction bars to reduce wheel hop. No air dam though.1 point

The big difference is that they use skids in the Lightning plant. Don't think any other Ford assembly plant uses moving skids like this plant does.1 point

Escape could use a decent upgrade. Compact CUV is the most intensely competitive segment of the new car market - every car company selling in the US has multiple entries in the segment. Ford needs to sprinkle some of that Bronco Sport and Maverick magic on the Escape.1 point

I’m in central Ohio. Gas prices are $3.99 which are down from a week ago, however diesel has went up to $4.99. I’m a little confused as to why one would go down and one up but unfortunately since I drive a diesel of course that’s what happened.1 point

Hopefully they get it resolved quickly. As broken as our supply chain is now we need everything running on all cylinders to keep things moving even as little as they are now.1 point

Excellent! I am so glad it finally arrived. Good luck getting that thing home. Thanks for sharing, enjoy the new ride.1 point

Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't see someone looking at a Focus competitor (say Civic or Corolla) looking at Bronco or Ranger. Same with Fusion competitor customers and putting them into Maverick or Bronco Sport. I know of a number of people who have avoided Trucks and SUVs for one reason or another for decades. When they ask me what Ford offers and I explain the options, they say, "Oh, Ford doesn't have anything for me". Granted, this part of the market is smaller, and is shrinking, but the imports offer an alternate. Dodge still has Charger and Chevy still selling Malibu and Impala, albeit they are barely hanging on.1 point
