  1. I picked up my 2022 Bronco Black Diamond that I ordered from the other dealer in my row with the first dealer. It is exactly as I ordered and I will enjoy it. If @cyberdman is still here, thank you for the assist. Point of order was 12/31/21, built 4/19/22, delivered to Dealer 7/25/22 (My birthday). I am 100% pleased with the process, the dealer sold me the 2022 without any ADM's and even honored the original MSRP when I ordered it, they also gave me every penny I paid for my 2021 Bronco Black Diamond that I bought in January. Tomorrow, I will be putting my Black Diamond aluminum rims on it and a few other small doo dads I picked up along the way.

  3. I-C, I'm sorry if you think I have intentionally wasted your time, that was never my intent. Yours is the only date information IN WRITING, anything else has been second-hand, I was told this, blah blah blah. Nothing would make me happier than to get an order entered and time-stamped this week, once I return from a Daddy-Daughter long weekend with my soon to be married little girl. I only wish that you and your dealership were a little closer to me, geographically, so that we could do business together. Again, my apologies for the inquiry. HRG

  4. Too many Dealers are too lazy or incompetent to utilize the resources available with the information. Ford doesn't send much out via e-mails to Dealers, particularly about scheduling and production matters.

  5. I appreciate your updates here, and trust your info more than a dealer. Most dealerships are clueless 2/3'rds of the time.

  6. Not really. They sell way more Civics, Corollas, Accords, and Camrys in the US than in Japan. They sell more boxes on wheels like the Stepwgn in Japan. In China on the other hand... (but of course, so does Ford)

  7. Considering that Rangers are now sold in countries that have other requirements besides Euro standards, limiting the truck's capabilities for other markets would seem pretty short sighted (pun intended).

  9. Yeah, I really tried to like the 2018 and up front ends. I can concede that it's more agressive, but it's just less attractive and doesn't flow as well as the pre-facelifted design. Ford going back to a similar style of headlights as the original s550 kinda confirms they agree the 2018 refresh was a mistake imo. I don't despise the current front end, but it just feels like something sketchmonkey came up with. Something that sounded good at the time, but it just really doesn't work.

  10. Or maybe the US version will have slightly different dimensions

  11. Good pickup, remembering when +500 hp was the domain of high revving GT350.

  12. Good looking solution, should help those with limited capability of in-house breaker/fuse boxes. HRG

  13. Looks great. My brother ordered his Bronco the last week of December. He just got a VIN with a build date of the week of August 15th.

  15. Uh huh and Ford knows that the more entry point pricing is raised, the higher profits become…..that works in the USA but elsewhere it means that people stop buying as many of your products.

  16. And yet Civic outsold every Ford nameplate with the exception of F Series and Accord was bested by only it and Explorer (219,871).

  17. August inventory won't be a good indicator since the entire company is shut down the first 2 weeks of July. September will be a better indicator.

  18. Thank you for your input. I'm glad to hear that your window sticker was released this week also. At first, my build got moved to next week so I started to lose faith. Until today, the window sticker was finally there. I have a 2021 SEL model non-hybrid, which I am trading in. I never thought to use the foot activated tailgate. Until about 2 weeks ago. Now I am sure I will miss it but I will live. I'm not getting the plug-in hybrid, because I thought that I would not get it this year and the tax credit would run out. Therefore I'm getting the all-wheel drive, gas electric hybrid, with the sunroof and the tech package. I'm super excited again. Happy for you too!

  19. The R1T cabin seems very sterile compared to the Lightning, but I think Ford should move to a landscape screen for the next generation.

  20. 365 consecutive days, not a calendar year. Keep in mind that Ford can devalue the points at any time without advance notice before building up too high of a balance. Currently each point is worth 0.5¢, so 1000 points is worth $5 toward nearly any purchase at a Ford dealer. https://www.ford.com/support/how-tos/fordpass/fordpass-rewards/fordpass-rewards-frequently-asked-questions/

  22. I love it when students are given the opportunity to work on a project like this, it gives them the experience they need to move up the career ladder, and Southern California students have had a lot of cool projects over the years. Sometimes projects are very innovative and some people think that they were designed by people with schizophrenia))) But now I study design in college and when I prepare various essays by famous authors, I see that many projects that became revolutionary at the very beginning were not taken seriously. But I often see California student essay ideas become real projects and have a big impact in the automotive industry.

  23. Subaru, like Mazda is in trouble as the market changes quickly. I loved my Crosstrek, but the Crosstrek plugin sucks, and the Escape Hybrid is a winner. The plugin Escape is also a winner. Lincoln is going to do a Corsair Hybrid also to complement the plugin. Meanwhile, Mazda just did a BEV that is already planned for its only 100 mile range. I'm sure Subaru and Mazda can keep their loyal customers for now, but the future looks bleak as the big boys go full force into electrics.
