  2. S&P, I’m very fortunate.I have had a REALLY great relationship with this dealership for going on 25 years. We’ve purchased lots of cars and trucks from them, as well as referrals. My salesman is a friend. Always a handshake deal. Honestly, we never talk money. It’s always been a below invoice price until now, and auction comps for my trades. They’re an enormous multi brand dealership with stores all around WNY. and to them,, it’s about repeat business.

  6. If you can't get the new 6.8 on an XLT reg cab 8`bed srw & have to go with the new 7.3 how much difference is that in power & MPG I have the 6.2 didn't expect them from not having the 6.8 as an option on the 23 XLT`S , That has been a great engine don't understand some of these changes. LED`S head & tail lights should have been a stand along opt. The last am I reading it wrong is the BLIS no longer standered but as a opt on the trailer pkg

  7. Ironically, the Mach E turned out to be a competitor to the Tesla E, so I give Farley and his vision full marks for that. The big issue I have is that they didn’t correct the need for electrified C2s, their best thought was to see if they could access VW’s MEB and use Ford top hats. Ginning up a deal while discussing other supply deals that brought home home the equivalent of “magic beans” for Hackett who then called it a Job Done moment. Absolutely and great point btw, this is all about perception of the business and how to handle transition. Like their competition, I’m sure Ford thought that Electrics are easy, all we have to do is change the power train, add a battery and boom baby, profits keep coming. Now that Ford has seen how Tesla uses Idra’s Gigacastings presses to reduce complex stamped and welded parts to a casting produced every 90 seconds, you can bet their manufacturing will need to embrace that or go to skate board/true chassis. The fact that Ford is not competing directly with Tesla gives it time to get ready…….one thing though, where will Tesla be by 2027?

  8. I’m curious if that was an unintended carryover statement from the gas engines that accept regular but run best on premium.

  10. I wouldn’t be surprised if Elon had it created as a design concept without any consideration for actual production then just decided we’re going to build it! And the engineers crapped their pants.

  11. Hope whatever replaces Fiesta remains an affordable choice. Here in the US the Fiesta was only occasionally offered. Some young coworkers, particularly urban dwellers, were quite pleased with it. ST version especially so.
