  2. My F350 is sitting at a rail yard about 75 miles away. Now I just get to wait the 2+/- weeks for it to get here. That's OK, it's been 14 months, what's another 2 weeks.

  3. At some point, dealers will realise that they’re not required for BEVs, there’s less money at point of sales (online direct with Ford?) and way less service required, no more regular engine oil & filter changes, updates can be done over the air so far less work for dealers to do and charge. I can see dealerships wasting away as work dries up, Ford doesn’t have to do anything..and that’s probably the best way to circumvent. any state franchise laws…. they’ll go the way of the tv repair tech or VCR service tech….

  4. Cancelled orders still got 2% under invoice. All new orders were $1500 above invoice.

  5. Canceled orders get priority at granger. The 120 allocations don’t include the 20 cancellations at the front of the line. I was one of them but I got a production email from ford a few days ago for my platinum with a November 28th production date which caught me off guard. I was already in discussions with ford about what they were going to do with my cancelled order. -if you had a pco for your MY22 order they are extending those for the MY23 -ford will also issue another pco to use at the time of purchase to offset the increase. This pco is stackable and is determined by which model you order and the difference in price. Ford would not hint at the total of the second pco. Just saying you will know at the time of purchase.

  7. thanks for the testimonial on the Maverick. Surprised with the over 40 with the aerodynamics of the truck. We love ours and only wish is that we had gotten the plugin.

  8. Yes, in the early days, VCT could be unreliable until it was improved in the 20 teens Just know that Ford missed badly with just Boss 6.2, that engine should have been 5.8 &7.0 that could have replaced the MODs, 5.4 and 6.8 V10

  9. It was more the fact that Old GM had the franchise agreements. New GM was created out of the bankruptcy and was free then to negotiate new agreements or not with the dealers. It was more a function of the bankruptcy law than anything.

  10. Great powertrain, I believe it's essentially the same one used in our maverick hybrid. Efficient, powerful enough, and offering legendary levels of reliability apparently. Overall, a fantastic setup. Our mav even in the cold and with some highway driving mixed in is averaging over 40 mpg during the break-in period. Personal best is about 62 mpg, regularly get close to, or over 50 mpg during short drives. Love it.

  11. I disagree with your Dealer. The only issue with price protection is if you change the model (Body Code) or trim (XL, XLT, Lariat, etc.) which then creates a new order with a new original order date.

  12. Anecdotal story at best. “The guy on another forum “ is in no way a trusted source for a mile hit from a tremor valence.
