  1. You got it! If I could get an F600 in a crew cab lariat, I'd get that! 😄 This camper is what's going on the back of it.

  2. Nope! Going smaller since our kids rarely go with us anymore. We'll be able to get into national parks and a lot of dispersed camping areas that we couldn't take our big fifth wheel. And we'll be able to tow the Bronco behind us for better maneuverability without the camper as well.

  3. Yup a whole lot of silly posting and posturing but it’s hardly funny to me.

  4. Yes it no doubt is in the rut and all I see is pure chaos. Won’t be too political here but we shall see how the mid terms play out.

  5. Ford needs to just stay the course, I have a lot more to say but I would be banned from this group. So politics will remain out of it as instructed.

  6. That looks 100 times better and is 10 times more useful.

  7. https://www.cnbc.com/2026/09/08/ford-china-dot-sean-duffy.html Keep it civil and politics as much as possible out of it. My take-This just window dressing for theatrics, if the administration wanted to be really "hard on Ford" they wouldn't have authorized the Corsair/Nautilus to be imported from China and the hard fact is that the "best" battery tech comes from Chinese companies, till someone else comes up with a better way of making them. Ford has said they'll already move production or replace those products with ones made in NA in a few years. Why hasn't GM been criticized for importing large portions of their lineup from Mexico (trucks particularly)or Buicks that come from China? I'm guessing they'll be next.

  8. Australia Leading Global Ford Bronco Basecamp Development According to CarExpert, the Ford Bronco Basecamp - which was just announced for Australia and New Zealand earlier this week - will get its own unique chassis and safety system tunes for the local market. This is notable given the fact that the Bronco Basecamp was developed in China by the Jiangling Ford joint-venture, utilizing a platform and other components from China's Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC).

  9. I agree with you there has been far too much instability for my liking. We need those fuel and diesel prices down.

  10. It’s a time to hunker down and just get through…. if diesel goes any higher, I’m worried it will kick off accelerated inflation…

  11. It’s like somebody brought the movie, Canadian Bacon to reality… ” The US economy is in a rut, and so is the president's approval rating. What is needed is a good war, but the Russians are not interested. Hey--how about that big polite country to the north, eh? Niagara Falls Sheriff Bud B. Boomer takes this all a bit too seriously, though. —Jon Reeves” But seriously, I just hope all my friends in the Northern Hemisphere make it through this rough period, praying for all of you.

  12. No. I know the reason but I don’t feel like I can share it without getting in trouble.

  13. All I heard was that we will also get the next generation Super Duties and possibly EREV production as well. We make everything Kentucky makes except the F-600 which I have yet to see. Obviously we don’t make expedition or navigator in Oakville. We’re ever so slowly ramping up and are right now in the system fill stage. They want the factory filled by September 28 through final assembly.

  16. I think Ford is right for taking its time making sure the EREV approach does what its buyers want rather than rushing something out to have it.

  18. I made this rack system for my 2020 Ranger for hauling 4x8 plywood. I've also hauled 2"x6"x10' lumber with it. It's not ideal for 10' dimensional lumber but it works. I used clamps to keep the lumber from moving.

  20. Tacoma is about an inch wider and about 2.4” longer. The Tacoma also offers a 6’ bed but it is a relatively small percentage of sales. They’re close but overall Tacoma is a tad larger. More than I thought. I understand better now what JP is getting at.

  21. Been saying it for years that half ton trucks in general are getting too big and the first one to slot in just under it will reap the rewards. Ford seems like a natural since that is pretty much all that is left in Ford's line....trucks.

  22. Looks like a good product. I think it would do ok here, though there'd be a fair amount of overlap.

  24. It's pretty nuts that they had a more traditional Explorer EV ready to go and decided to drop it and attempt a spaceship instead. I wish we could see all the "could've been" products...
