  1. That is the exact reason its being done-its a packaging issue with the greenhouse and door cutout for entry. The only reason I think it looks strange is that its fairly large vs other products and it has an angle to it which makes the green house look like its wrapping into the windshield I wonder if it has to do some the packging of the platform its on.
  2. It also rounds into the windshield, it just looks odd to me. Plus other famous other cab forward designs didn't use a vent window either.
  3. https://www.netcarshow.com/volkswagen/2027-id.3_neo/ Actually looks pretty good for an EV though the faux vent window is a bit of a bazaar design choice IMO.
  4. Yeah put me down for that-I'd like a Mustang for my second or third car-a sedan would be more practical then a coupe
  5. In the grand scheme of things they have roughly remained the same size (the regular cab has grown a bit since 2000 vs 2025) but I believe that Supercrew and SuperCab models have become more popular sellers, thus why it seems like the F-150 has gotten so large.
  6. Im assuming that is what this product is primarily geared for

  9. https://www.fromtheroad.ford.com/us/en/articles/2026/mustang-dark-horse-sc-795-horsepower Nice power bump over the last gen GT500, which had 760 horsepower and 625 pound-feet of torque.

  12. Nah I think he doesn't have any inside contacts anymore and since he has an apparent following that he feels like he can do say certain things. I've been around here long enough to see who actually knows whats going on and people who had information (often not Ford employees) see their sources dry up because of NDAs etc that killed information flow out. Just as an example, Premierdrum had lots of Bronco info, then the information he was putting out dried up right at launch or just afterwards. Ford will put the kabash on things. Borg has been around for a long time so I seriously think he actually has an insider information because I'm sure Ford would be figuring out who was leaking it to him.
  13. Does it really matter? All of it is just conjecture till Ford shows it. I get people are "desperate" for info from Ford about future products, but does it actually pay the bills? All your doing is arguing over internet "clout"
  14. Which is my point, why even report on what he is saying here since the vast majority of the time it is wrong.
  15. Anything he says you have to take with a grain of salt-I don't even see why we should be talking about him because most of the time he's wrong.
  16. maybe you missed the timeline-but this was shown over a year ago on Linkedin. I think your reading into it way too much.
  17. Nah it was all about the styling of it-They went with a Mustang likeness to help with the marketing. If it looked like some of the renderings they had it would have done even more terribility
  18. They just putting in a subtle jab because they want Ford to make them a car that no one else really wants.
  19. Officially an article now https://www.thedrive.com/news/fords-never-seen-canceled-moonshot-ev-has-been-hiding-in-plain-sight-online-for-a-year
  20. IMO I think the issue with this product and other EVs: Other automakers saw the success that Tesla was having with their products and tried to replicate it. However the problem with that was they where trying to chase down a certain type of customer who was already being served by Tesla products I'm personally slightly turned off by the minimalist style and interiors of Tesla products-they look "boring and cheap" I get why its being done also (weight savings/cheaper to build) Styling has been overall disappointing with the vast majority of EVs-Kia's EV and the Mach E are some of the better looking products, but once again, the exteriors are getting hit with that minimalist style again. Once again, IMO Automakers need to stop making EVs "look different" with in reason, because there is a rather large portion of the car buying public that doesn't want to stick out or look different like say early Prius or Tesla buyers who think they are better then other people who don't have a hybrid or EV. I think that also doesn't help EV sales either.
