  1. If you get the material in the mail to change the current way to vote please don’t discard it. Let your vote directly pick our board, President and Vice Presidents, regional directors !!!! Not the current way of cronyism. One group has decided these reps for over 40 years with no opposition. That’s why all these guys are untouchable and unaccountable. Make them earn our vote, let them have competition at election time for each job like at the local level!!!! Even though the Feds prohibit the Uaw from putting out information on how we should vote. I see local union reps are voicing “their opinions “ in mass texting. Of course they say we should keep the same system that gets them down town without any say directly from us. Don’t listen!!! Vote for rank and file individual votes. NOT CURRENT DELEGATE VOTING SYSTEM!

  4. Why should hourly get less profit sharing because some engineer designs a bad part , or a supplier gives us a bad part. So we have to recall 500,000 cars and it costs us a billion dollars. So less profit less bonus. GM ignition wasn't UAW's members fault but they will get less money.

They can borrow from the fund just like they borrow from our strike fund to blow on failed organizing. 4. more money secures their lavish lifestyles. Don't bundle a raise and better profit sharing with you controlling my healthcare. I don't want the sheep and cronies you bring downtown near my healthcare. If its such a great deal for me have it be in a separate vote!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Ya I know...I bought a laptop and two weeks later they offered 200.00 rebate. I'm never buying a HP again !!! Then my I phone I bought two months later,it there was 150.00 dollars cheaper, they screwed me!!! I'm never buying one again!!! Then I bought a house and then 3 months later interest rates went down, A-holes how dare you, I'm never buying a house again!! Worst of all, Kroger had buy one get one free hot dog buns the NEXT DAY..the NEXT DAY after I bought some. I WILL NEVER, NEVER , NEVER GO TO KROGER AGAIN ! SIR YOU AND AND YOUR FATHER ARE MORONS!   9. :rant:How could the uaw or caw let ford produce a car not touched by ford hourly employees. I looked through the contract and came up scratching my head! Unbelievable, designed by ford but no union employee will lay a finger on it? Hell, at least Saleen built the last one and delivered it to Wixom and they put the engine and trans in and called it a ford. Sorry union, lost some faith in you guys. Please don't let me down on the new contact. I wont give up on you guys if you get back most of the things we gave up and a raise for all. You guys get one every few years how about one for us 1st tier. :rant:
  10. I know its been a big prob. Had my replaced once, now they are peeling again. dealer says out of warranty, any one call Ford and get them replaced ?
  11. Hell no, idiots killed Wixom. They purposely withheld product and let the towncar design get old and dusty. Gee lets keep open wayne and map while making a car in map that the plant is too small for. Trucking parts 1000 feet in semi's only to be loaded and then unloaded again pure upper management smarts. All while only utilizing a 1/5 of the wayne plant..... awesome. Could of done it all under one roof at Wixom.

  13. You guys can blame yourselves. They have been watching you for years. taking turns letting people go home hours early, ect ect. You can come back and say Im a hater but you know its true. ask the people who hang brakes or used to. They used to trade off letting people go home after last break, since they opened MAP. I tried to tell them they are going to cut people. Ohh know they wont do that they said. go over there now its all fucked up, they cut heads and stopped that. People always get greedy and mess up a gravy job, its your fault they are cutting rough road. How can the union fight for you when they know you are going the job with less people so you can go home.
  14. Ok truth is you have about a 10% chance of doing so, 40% if you know someone chairman or higher. Also the contract, pension and pay is different so you better read their contract and figure out their health care as a worker and retiree. I really don't think you know what you are in for. My opinion it will never happen and you are better off here.
  15. Fact...this is Union busting plain and simple. The UAW as we know it is gone. If we dont adapt and learn from this we are done. I hope this is a wake up call to many. I hope this ends all the nepotism, cronyism, and failed actions from the top that have only weakened us.Dont get me wrong, they mean well. We have to go back to the days of Walter and promote the brightest, most passionate, and the most active brothers and sisters. Not the sons,daughters, siblings and friends who only are there to get a double pension and perks. If we are to survive we need the best, not the ass kissers who will vote blind. The company doesn't load up their staff our way, they put the best in there to attack us. We need to do the same !!! I feel bad saying this, but as we can see.We cant afford to do it the old way anymore!
