  1. I have recently run into a problem having my yearly physical covered by the UAW Trust. This happened because Cleveland Clinic changed all their facilities to outpatient. Our Trust language states that it will be covered under "office visit" which CC use to bill as. Now that they bill as an outpatient facility the UAW Trust will not cover it and CC will not change their language for billing. Has anyone else had this problem? Not only with Cleveland Clinic but, with any other health care provider? Is there anything we can do to get the Trust to accept this language? Would appreciate any feedback on this.
  2. Review the benefits real good. I just ran into a problem where office visits to doctors are not covered unless it is in an office. I recently had my physical denied for payment by the UAW Trust because Cleveland Clinic bills as an outpatient facility now. They use to bill as "Office Visit". This has caused me to have to find a doctor in an office setting that bills as such.
  3. Thanks for the info NoMo. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you to. :stats:
  4. here it is 12-21-08 and we still don't have our x-mas bonus. what gives?? any retiree get their's yet??
  5. Has anyone that is retired recieve their xmas bonus yet??
  6. Heard from a source that Ford will announce Cleveland Casting will close by June 2009. This will be along with the other plant changes in the US. Plant 1 is on hold to reopen indefinitely. Lima is capable of producing all engines needed for now. It's time to get serious about leaving with a buyout for us Cleveland folks :reading: :reading:
  7. I would not wish CSMJ on my worst enemy. We have enough to worry about without him starting his BS rumors that he gets from his "INSIDE" union buddies Maybe we can send him to Lima!! :happy feet: :happy feet: They already hate us.
  8. CSMJ works at the Cleveland casting plant. He was a transfer from Avon. And you are right he is full of nothing but rumors and bullshit He likes to think he has an inside track. WE would like him to have a fast track back to Avon
  9. We wish you didn't work at Ford. We know who you are and where you work. The real funny thing is all the people you work with think your an ass also and you thought we liked your BS stories? PLEASE go far, far away :happy feet: :happy feet: and take your wild ass imagination with you!!!!!!!!
  10. You really are a UNION ass suck-up. Stop posting your suck-up shit about our sorry ass union president Tim. The only reason his nephew stayed is because he DID NOT WANT to go anywhere else. And that's a fact Jack :happy feet: :happy feet: You F------ think you know everything. The only inside track you have is up Tim's ass. Please do all of us a favor and stay away like you said you would until after contract time. Better yet, stay away forever country boy
  11. You are an absolute ass that thinks he knows everything. When in fact you know nothing. All the robots are gone from 2 mold line, NO improvements. Give it up country boy. You are also going down with the ship. By the way, your 2 cents isn't worth SHIT. Keep it between you and your " CONTACT" :happy feet: :happy feet: Everyone is tired of your bullshit stories.
  12. Well BUBBA we'll see what goes on here soon. You have not been right about any bullshit you have posted yet. And to say you were right about the foundry You put in your first post that Ford was not closing it. Now you are saying they will outsource it. The foundry is gone, no longer Ford's. So make up your mind. Go suck up some more mold sand and let us know what's going on then :happy feet: :happy feet: And by the way, if the foundry continues production after 2009 it will not be with all the deadbeats we have here now. NO company in there right mind would continue paying our wages with the scrap we continue to run. They will bring in their own people for less money GUARANTEED!!! If they have the money to buy the place they sure in hell will make sure they have qualified people to work it. Think about what you post from your "SOURCES" because it really makes no sense. And either do
  13. Well I am glad you trust the "good" union people. The foundry will no longer belong to Ford after 2008 and that's that!!!!!!! Just remember to put that tooth under your pillow for the tooth fairy as I can see you are writing your own fable :stats: :stats: :happy feet:
  14. I agree. If CSMJ believes everything the union says then I have some swampland in Florida for sale. What a frickin loser. Nothing better to do than start rumors. Aren't we dealing with enough shit at Brookpark??? :stats: :stats:
  15. Cleveland casting had an MOA and COA in effect. So if your thoughts are these agreements are enough you are wrong. I understand that Hinrich was in Cleveland for 2 days. The bad news of the closing was officially given to the plant on Friday 5-4-07. These agreements are nothing more than empty promises that Ford and the Union use to get what they need until they decide your fate. Every plant that votes on these COA's had better know that they are not immune to the chopping block. We at CCP know this first hand :titanic: :titanic: Good luck to all the Ford employees out there.
  16. Before we voted on the MOA/COA (whatever they want to call it) we were told that in order to get new work (6.2 block at the time) we would need to approve the agreement. We approved it and we are still waiting on new work. We were told by Ford officials that now we are not showing strides in improvement to be competitive enough for new work. And Ford also told Ohio government officials that casting is no longer a core part of their business. All the promises for new work or just keeping plants open to approve new operating agreements are just a ploy on both the company & union to get these passed. The union is afaid of losing membership (dues) that they are the ones scaring people into voting these things in. Also voted in at the casting plant was the MOA for the 2 new cupolos that is now on hold for completion. We have given up alot without anything in return as of yet. So with that in mind, ask the union just what they can "guarantee" in return and I will bet they sidestep the question because there are NO guarantees. And they would be lying to tell you there are. This comes from experience over the past 3-4 years of voting in agreements and getting absolutely nothing in return. Good luck out there.
  17. The 5.4 goes into the F150. The super duty takes a diesel engine. I'm not sure about the 6.8, unless some of those wind up in the F250's, which also can be purchased with a diesel engine. Just trying to see the need for all the 5.4's.
  18. At CCP we are working the holiday's and saturday this weekend. We have been working weekends for the last month. Management tells us that we are behind on orders for Windsor engine. Can anyone from Windsor tell me if this is true? It's really odd that all of a sudden with sales falling on the F-150 that the need for these blocks is so necessary. What, if anything are you guys hearing at Windsor?
  19. The local newspaper (Sun News) has reported per Union officials not to be named that Ford has not and WILL NOT be giving any new work to the Brookpark site. It is their estimation that the site will be on the list for closure in the near future. Not even tax incentives will be enough to keep the site open. Market share does not allow for 2 engine plants and Lima to manufacture the same engine. LIma will be getting new work.
  20. There was a leaflet from our union President on 3-12-07 stating that NO new work has been scheduled for either of our Cleveland engine plants. SOOOOOOO take all the info from previous posts on this subject and file them in the useless info file. :titanic: . The Cleveland site is not looking good at this time or anytime in the near future. Glad I took a package :happy feet: :happy feet:
  21. Up north is looking at Lima to be the sole provider of the 3.5. We were never working together with them as a team. They screwed 1250 from the get go and our union fell for it
  22. There is rumor (union committeman) that Plant 1 will be down for 8 months. That would be why layoffs are going back to 98'.
  23. The layoff went back to 5-15-2000. There will be another layoff on 3-16 going into 1999. There were was no one hired from 1-00 to 5-15-00. So how far back into 99 they go, I don't know. There are some rumblings from union people on the floor that layoffs will hit back to 95' seniority after all is said and done. All we can do is take it day by day, it is all speculation and rumor.
  24. What was the site managers name? We recently got Mike Feliz at the foundry. All this shifting of managers is bull. We employees do run the show. But, Ford cannot admit to that.
  25. We at the Cleveland site certainly do need some help. In our paper today (The Plain Dealer) business section, It stated that" Ford Lima gets new engine work, NO new engine announcements were made for Ford's Brook Park operation". We are losing the 3.0 work in the casting plant 230 jobs and the afternoon shift in Plant 1 is gone as of 2-16-07, 177 jobs. I personally do not care if our new site manager is a monkey :happy feet: :happy feet: just get someone in here that cares about this site staying open . When is Jan Allman supposed to be coming to Cleveland if anyone knows.
