  1. LOL.........I wish you hadn't said that. I suddenly do see "Camaro" in certain areas now. Why did you have to point that out???.....LOL.
  2. Sorry Guys and Gals........I should have posted this in the Lincoln Discussion. I just now started it there. However, I am not sure how to delete this topic. I am working on it. Sorry for the confusion.
  3. Lincoln needs to hire these guys IMMEDIATELY!!! They understand and interpret for me what a Modern Lincoln should be. They kept many of the design cues that are so important for instant recognition, yet did a fantastic job of melding them with the past, present and future. Clearly some aspects are not feasible, but the overall flow, stance, and presence is just amazing. I loved the MKR concept. This study immediately brought those thoughts to mind. I am very glad Ford participated in this study. I think as feedback starts to roll in they will learn a great deal about what design features truly excite a Lincoln fan and customer. I am raising money to put toward the development of this Design Study.........therefore, my Mother is For Sale. Sorry Mom, but this is just too important. http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2012/01/students-design-all-electric-lincoln.html Photo Credits: Colin Bonathan via Lawrence Tech
  4. I hope you are right. I do like what I see. I am not to sure about the finer tooth grill, but it may turn out to look great. It is too soon to judge.
  5. I think I agree with you. The cut of the rear door over the wheel well looks much similar to the MKS than the MKZ. Here are some profile pics for comparison. I think this is the MKS with roofline styling similar to the new Jaguar XJ. I could be wrong, but that is my guess. http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-lincoln-mkz/#photo-4462594/ http://www.netcarshow.com/lincoln/2009-mks/800x600/wallpaper_18.htm http://www.netcarshow.com/lincoln/2010-mkz/800x600/wallpaper_0d.htm
  6. This is the pic I am talking about: http://www.autoblog.com/photos/spy-shots-lincoln-mkz/#photo-4462597/
  7. The last picture in the series of spy photos shows what looks like to me a window in the C-pillar, much like the Jaguar XJ had three generations ago. Does anyone else see that or am I just seeing a headrest outline?
  8. Did you also notice that they dropped the Navigation System option all together? I wonder if this is permanent or just until they make Sync available? Also, could someone please tell me why you cannot get a factory ordered sunroof on the Signature L Town Car? I just do not understand some of the utterly stupid decisions Ford has made regarding the Lincoln division. Two small, irritating issues really annoy me. I hate the fact that they don't give the Driver hand grips in the LTC when all other outboard seating positions get one. The driver is the one who would use it the most. I had two town cars and had to drive my old one following back surgery simply because it had this option and my newer one did not. I was 40 years old at the time, BTW. The other issue is with putting those tacky looking cup holders in the top of the rear armrest. No luxury or even near luxury car should have this. It just cheapens the overall impression of the car. My God, spend a few bucks more and hide the things IN the armrest or fold down like in the new LTC-L. They are always too shallow to do much good and who wants to see a potentially sticky mess in the bottom of them when not in use? It just irritates me to continuously see stupid decisions made on cheaper issues which can make a big impression with buyers. I realize that the LTC is going away. I understand why. However, please Ford, quit pinching pennies in the wrong areas. Build the MKR and do it NOW. The MKS has great content, but is pretty darn boring. The MKR styling is what is going to excite buyers. There is too much competition out there to continue with the bland stying jobs. Hopefully, you learned that with Jaguar. Okay, I'm done.
