Back in the 80's when I was in High School, I rear ended a Pinto (Hatchback) in my Dad's 1978 Pontiac Grand Prix Coupe. Pinto was smashed up, fortunately no Fire! The Grand Prix only had bent front bumper stops upon first look. (Drove fine, but the frame was bent slightly). The reaction from the Pinto Driver was priceless!

That is my biggest gripe with the Mach E. The interior quality seems to be good, but the styling is so bland!!

Autoblog review mentions it is built in China at the end of the review...

Enough that I prefer buttons and knobs. I would actually rather have all radio/climate on physical buttons. I suppose I am just an old Fuddy Duddy!! LOL

I am not a fan of Tablet screens, but this is certainly an improvement over last year. Also complained about Mustang, but it was not near as bad in person when I sat in one. So this would not be a deal breaker for me. But I do want buttons and knobs for Climate!!!

Yeah, I do not understand why sedans were dropped since margins for anything other than F Series do not seem to be any better than the cars they were selling!

I had mentioned that before on here about making a 4 door sedan from the mustang platform. I do not think they should just add two more doors, change up the styling.

Ford is reaping exactly what they are sowing! Will see soon enough if all this talk by Farley of improving quality is true.

Owned a 2018 Taurus SEL, bought new in 2019 and it was a very nice car and built like a tank! It had been sitting on the lot for almost a year and had a nice rebate. I hated to see production end, but Ford does not want to invest in cars except for Mustang. Hated to get rid of it, but back in 2021 I ordered a Bronco and sold it to Carvana (cleared several thousand over what I owed) and made a nice down payment on the Bronco when I finally got it!

Sorry to hear about all of your problems. I do not own and Explorer, but I can say that the Manager at my Local dealer has told me that Explorer is the worst built vehicle he has seen. I also know that Chicago assembly has a bad reputation. I know that Ford is on a Quality push and they have their hands full with Explorer and CAP!

I have seen the dealership invoice pricing on Bronco also, and there is not much more "profit" in them either! Not a fan of ADM either, but the only way ADM will end is for people to stop buying at those prices. I detail vehicles for my local small town dealer. I detailed Two XLT Mavericks they recently took in for trade (Customers bought new Lariats that were on order), and they are both priced several thousand dollars over the New Sticker price! One of them has already sold (23 Hybrid with only 2400 miles). When I asked the Dealership Manager about that, he said that is what the market is for them. Crazy!!

I am curious what the margin is on Mustang? What I would like to see is what Dodge (Stellantis) was doing, develop a Sedan (Falcon) and Coupe (Mustang) on the same platform. Would be sweet to have a V8 sedan! Fusion name should carry on as a Hybrid/Electric vehicle...

Yeah, I cannot believe they dropped Race Red. Always been of the mindset the Race Red should be a Mustang only color, but some form of a regular Red color should be available!

It is either a commodity or allocation issue most likely. Priority 10 is the highest that a dealer can set for a retail order and if they do not have the allocation it will not get you built any faster. Will take someone above the Dealer (Zone Rep?) to bump up priority, but not sure how much that will help there is a commodity issue.

Priority 10 is the Highest Priority Code that your dealer can assign a retail order, so you are at the top of the list with your Dealer. Have you converted your order to 2023 and completed COVP with your Dealer? I also just seen an article on Ford Authority on constraint items. From the article: "Currently, the 2023 Ford Maverick supply constraints consist of front and rear splash guards, the hard-folding trifold bed cover, load box bedliner, pickup box extender, soft-folding tonneau cover, load box edge protector with lights, protective film for the hood and fenders, and the trailer hitch receiver."

Go to Tire Rack and checkout tire and wheel packages. That will provide you with a "visualizer". I use Cooper tires (now owned by Goodyear) and have been very happy with them. After further review, the interior is starting to grow on me except for the screen setup. I hate screens that are not integrated into the dash. Would really like this if they would integrate them into the dash. Would love to see gauge binnacles in front of the gauge screen. This trend with screens "stuck on" seems lazy design to me...

I will be the first one! That interior is god awful!!!! No imagination in the styling, very generic.
