  1. I almost bought one back in 1984. I really had my heart set on a Dodge Daytona Turbo Z. The Chysler dealer had a Conquest they really wanted to move and the price was tempting. I wanted to buy American and waited until I found the Daytona I wanted.
  2. I had a blurry car once. It was really hard to wash.
  3. And the Chevrolet Vega and Monza 2+2,Citation, Aspen and Volare.
  4. My Annual posting of the greatest Thanksgiving sitcom episode ever. A Happy and Safe Thanksgiving to All!
  5. It's far better than having people outside Lincoln's traditional demographic (almost Dead) asking "Do they still make Lincolns?"
  6. SNL ran 3 parody ads of the McConaughey MKC ad last night. Jim Carrey was the guest host and did a funny McConaughey. The "ads" ran the MKC tagline and website. A sincere form of flattery and exposure to an audience that probably doesn't think much about Lincoln.
  7. http://www.caranddriver.com/comparisons/2014-ford-fiesta-st-vs-2014-fiat-500-abarth-2014-mini-cooper-s-hardtop-comparison-test Judged by speed, dynamics, and practicality, the Fiesta ST is the clear winner here. Unlike the 500 Abarth and the Cooper S, the Fiesta behaves and moves like a far more expensive sports sedan. It’s a car that’s been utterly transformed to our taste.
  8. That is still one of my favorites Timmm along with the wagon version.
  9. A sad end to the Bucco's season. I'd sure love to have 3 of those close ones back to have won the division. Oh well, there's always next year. Maybe we can get the Nuttings to pony up some money to keep the stars and pick up some help for next season.
  10. From Jalopnik: Who doesn't like the GT40 and its various descendents throughout the years? Terrorists, that's who. People who hate freedom and our very way of life. Oh, and Italians. Them, too. So, prepare your lasagna-holes, Ferrari. Hide yo' wife, hide yo' schnitzel, Porsche. And Aston Martin, it's time for a tea break.
  11. I really hope Lincoln moves back to model names. There is nothing interesting about telling someone you just bought an MK_. Sure the Mustang would perform the same if it had a alphabet name, but it wouldn't spark the imagination the way the Mustang name does.
  12. Someone told me that the first thing to go as you get older is the ... ... ... Oh hell, I can't remember what that was.
  13. I'm sure Lincoln's not complaining since she left the name ID at the end. Ellen has a big audience.
  14. In all fairness the Germans only used the number system because all of their words are too long to put on a car without wrapping them around the sides.
