  1. No they didn't, unless your plant changed the duties of the team leader and added a utility man to each team.
  2. Yes they will be taken out the first week of every month. And yes. For me the physical and drugscreen were the last process.
  3. Still working in chassis. Could not tell you how long it takes. We are off for three weeks right now for re-tooling so chances are that K.C. might be building your truck.
  4. Sit and wait. It was six months between my physical and getting called in.
  5. Saw it again tonight.....And....................It is a 3.5 ECO.....I wonder if the 6.2 will be an option since its available on the FX4?????
  6. Well the yellow sticker on the driver window means it's going to the detail center (probable where it's still at). If it's getting the FX4 stripe along the side the badge would be on the tailgate not the door. So it still could be....
  7. Just a quick update...The guy that told me it had the ECO, now tells me it might have only been a 5.0...I will look around and see if I can find it again. ...But spotted outside tonight (no pic, left the phone inside) was a Crew cab STX 4X4 Sport. New rims and a center console.
  8. FX4 "Tremor", Regular cab w/ECO. First time the FX4 has been available in a Regular cab for this body style. Could only get the one pic, they were moving it for inspection.
  9. We have some new engineers on the floor now. They are doing line work now so they will some understanding when they start doing "engineer" stuff....
  10. That is the hole where a bracket would be welded on to connect the upper shock to the frame on the current model. When I was working on the 09 launch, I was told by an engineer that it was cheaper to cut new holes then it was to remove them. True or not that is a left over hole from current model.
  11. Because I needed a mini-van for the family....at least it was a Ford.
  12. Well get on that then...They don't pay you to sit around...lol
  13. Heard 3 weeks in July and 3 weeks in December. All of it should be done after Christmas if they do like the 09 launch, Tooling Trial will start in January/February.
  14. Show up on a day off. The only shift that does not allow it is C-crew. A and B crew are always letting people from C-crew work (at least in chassis).
  15. After years of "down weeks" and layoffs....I'm glad to be rolling non-stop.
  16. DTP produces about 7600 F-150 a week (not including super Saturdays/Sundays)
  17. Well then they are going to fill the yard REAL fast....Still building over 1200 a day. And no, I have not heard anything about it at the plant. Guess I'll have to ask around tonight.
  18. Nope...It was some local crazy who could not take "no" for an answer. So he walked in the plant to kill the woman who worked there. Which is why all Ford buildings now have gates with badge access. ...And lets be honest, the plant was TOO big. If Ford shut down two other plants then a case could be made to open it again. Who knows, if the state had built the new interchnge years ago (like they were supposed to) Wixom might still be open.
  19. Last break will be 25 minutes....so one minute longer per person.
  20. It's a mule of something. Our plant has not sent anyone over to the new models plant yet to work on any 15's.
  21. Let me put in my two cents. When we started building prototypes for the 09 back in 06, we did not use ANY new body styles. When we went back in 07 we started to use the new body/sheet metal for the first time (six months before it was revealed). Two years is a VERY long time to have a full prototype sitting around....
