    Ford Everest

I still have my hopes up. The Everest was seen under camouflage in Colorado high altitude testing and in Arizona. I'm hoping I can buy one soon here.
  2. I'd buy one ASAP. Or call it an Explorer, but with the looks of the Everest. I also posted this in another part of the forum before I saw this Wish List section. Sorry.

    Ford Everest

Hi all, I haven't posted on here in a while. I used to own an 05 Mustang GT which I loved, and I currently own a class B RV on a E-350 super duty chassis. The reason I'm posting is that I love the look of the concept Ford Everest and truly wish I could buy one here in the USA. I'm not really interested in the look of the Explorer, but I think the Everest is fantastic looking. Ford PLEASE MAKE IT HERE AND SELL IT HERE. Is this a vehicle that I soon may be able to buy? I currently own a new 2014 "other brand" SUV that frankly is not up to par, and many owners are having problems with its nine speed transmission (hint). Come on Ford where is my new Everest? Please! Waiting in Phoenix.
  4. OK well I guess no one on this forum has heard of this problem. It is well documented on another Ford Explorer forum. It appears that some people have this problem and many don't, so I'll probably get my 2013 Explorer in the next couple of months in the hopes that I won't experience the problem.
  5. Hi all. I'm seriously thinking of getting a 2013 Explorer after thanksgiving. I've had an Expedition and 05 Mustang GT that have been great vehicles with no major problems. So thanks ford. But I've been reading on other Explorer forums that owners of the new model Explorer are having problems smelling exhaust gases in the cabin with the windows closed. This worries me since so far according to the owners, Ford has no fix for this problem and some think it is a design flaw. Has any 2011 - 2013 Explorer owner on this forum experienced this, and if so has Ford corrected the problem? I really would like to purchase a new Explorer soon but I don't want to if this is a major problem. Thanks for any information and as a happy previous Ford owner, I would like to know that the problem is solved so I can purchase my 2013 Explorer soon.
  6. Thinking of getting an Explorer Sport. I was wondering if you need to use premium unleaded fuel or is the engine designed to run on regular unleaded? With the price of gas I was hoping that the engine was designed to run on regular unleaded gas. Thanks.
  7. The latest issue of Motor Trend has an article on what they called the Ford Evos concept. Ford should slap a pony in the middle of the grill and call it the 2015 Mustang. All they need to do is add some Mustang touches to it. Pony grill, Mustang taillights, plus a few other cues. Man that thing is beautiful!
  8. I have a 2009 Pleasure-Way RV built on a 2008 E-350 Super Duty chassis. Recently the dash TPMS monitor first flashes and then stays on while driving. All my tires are properly inflated and I have not had a tire rotation. Does anyone have an idea as to the cause of this. I know there is a reset function but I have not done anything to change the original settings and this is the first time this has happened. Thought I'd ask here first before I take it to my Ford dealer. Thank you.
  9. I have an RV that is on a 2008 E-350 chassis. The dash has a scratch about 2 inches long and about a quarter inch wide where the paint is scraped off and the black plastic is showing through. The color is a sand color. My interior trim code is XW. Where can I buy touch up paint for my dashboard? I sure would appreciate any help on this. My dealer does not have this paint. Thanks
  10. Ok, I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place but here goes. I just bought a 2009 Pleasure-Way class B RV. It is based on the Ford E-350 van chassis. We bought it used (only 3000 miles). The color of the dash is a beige or sand color. The engine cover is also a sand or beige color to match the dash. The problem I have is that the cover has a black mark on it like a scratch about 2 inches long and about a quarter inch wide. What I am needing to know is the engine cover the beige color all the way through or is the engine cover black and painted the beige color. I'm trying to figure out if the black mark is from the beige paint coming off black plastic or if the black mark is a surface mark on the beige color. That will tell me if I need to find something to take the black mark off or buy matching interior paint and touchup the area where the beige paint was scratched off. I hope this is clear. Thank you for any information. Don
  11. Isn't it time for a fresh design of the Expedition. I've been waiting and kind of hoping for this. My 05 Mustang GT needs a Ford garagemate!
  12. Well I waited 4 months for my 05 GT back in the day. But I'm glad I did. People still stare at my car. It still looks like new and drives great!! Thanks ford. Now I am waiting to see the new Explorer. Perhaps my Mustang will have a new garagemate!
  13. Great pictures. We live in Phoenix near Luke Air Force Base and many times go there to watch the F-16 fighter jets. They are constantly taking off and landing. Sometimes they fly off to the Goldwater Bombing Range near interstate 8 to practice bombing runs. As far as Obama goes, I didn't vote for him. That's all I'll say. I voted for the Navy pilot Hero. I knew he would do a good job of protecting America from her enemies.
  14. Does anyone know when we actually might see the real 2011 Explorer? I'm looking forward to taking a good look at it.
  15. I would love to see a new design of the Expedition. A little more sleek with an engine that has sufficient power but gets a little better gas mileage than the current one. Is there any real news about an Expedition redesign in the near future? Please.....it would look nice in my garage next to my 05 Mustang GT.
