  1. Subarus plant is in Lafayette, Indiana off I65. Ive driven by it many times. I65 is a terrible road btw, avoid it if you can.
  2. Ill believe it when I see it. I actually hope they dont so I dont feel obligated to trade mine in, since I would have preferred a V8.
  3. NP, make sure you post pics when you get it.
  4. You will need to double check, but I believe rock damage to a sunroof would be covered by your comprehensive insurance. **You beat me to it akirby.
  5. Change your order, its worth the wait. I have it in my Raptor and wouldnt order one without it now. Of course I wouldnt go without a sunroof in any vehicle now either.
  6. Welcome aboard Friend. You should post some pics of your old Ford rides while your at it.
  7. I thought there was talk of a 4.X engine, I believe 4.8L, being built in a Canadian plant, but I havent heard much since. I for one would like to see an eco V8, I think that is what should have been in the current generation Raptor.
  8. There is a photo at Levines Twitter: https://twitter.com/mrlevine/status/986270373447684097?s=12
  9. Congrats, looks great! I know what you mean about that V8 sound, as I miss it on my Raptor.
  10. Now your just rubbing it in, lol.
  11. Thats a pretty big assumption, considering I see plenty of that age range of Escapes tooling around my area.
  12. Im traveling those same areas and I have yet to see an ISP Charger. So far only PIs, PIUs, and Caprices for me.
  13. I like it. If its similar to this I think it will be successful. Now Im just hoping there are at least, at bare minimum, removable roof panels.
  14. While I get your point, those third rows certainly dont seem to be hindering the sales of the other vehicles. Its best for the Escape to have them whether logical or not, because the vehicles cross shopped will.
  15. Agreed, they were used in our Explorer fairly regularly, and they were reasonable.
  16. Ford has a habit of doing this with their cars. They know how to build a nice car but they never seem to fully commit to them. Its a shame really, because they could be a leader in these segments if they really wanted to.
  17. Im not convinced your generation has that kind of loyalty to a brand. I think there is still opportunity there. I dont disagree that the product has to have the right appeal and price though.
  18. I cant Say that I blame them, I like them too.
  19. im willing to bet the people considering buying an Escape will continue to do so regardless of this result.
  20. So I was driving home northbound on Interstate 55 and encountered an ice storm. Heres what the truck looked like when I got home, an hour and a half later than I anticipated I might add. Once again the front sensors were all iced over and did not function. The camera at the top of the windshield did work when it could see the lines but otherwise it did not function either. I bring this up, because I still do not understand how these automated systems are going to handle common weather phenomenon like this, when the sensors do not work and the vehicle is blinded.
  21. Nice to see what you are taking the truck off-road, thats what I like to hear!
