  1. Waiting on the paperwork to come through now. Hope it won't be a problem. Finally have docs & therapists that she trusts some & it would be really rough if we couldn't keep them. She's such a good kid. I wish I could take it all off her. My younger daughter is ASD as well & has a bit of a tougher time. Little did I know when I dipped my toe in my hubby's gene pool that it was loaded down with ASD. ASD kids are really awesome once you understand their set of issues. If the world were a lot more kinder it wouldn't be so hard on them. Thank you again Decker. You helped this overwhelmed Mama not have a nervous breakdown before the Holidays. LOL
  2. I do hope you are not referring to me & my daughter as weasels ? I had no idea that we could keep our disabled kids on our insurance past 26 till recently & am certainly not trying to game the system. Just trying to keep my kid safe (within our legal rights) , god knows the poor girl has never been cut a break.

  4. I have a daughter about to age out of my insurance but she is autistic. I’ve been told that she can remain on the insurance because of that. Has anyone experienced this & can you let me know what you needed to do to keep your kid on your insurance? any tips,advice or even hassles with keeping them on ? thanks in advance
  5. Has anyone recieved the dependent eligibility letter from the company (alight dependent verification center) as of yet? ‘Our mail has been a bit unreliable since all the insanity with the post office. Thanks in advance for the info!

  8. Wow... So much for loyalty. My Dad worked at MAP for 39 years & he knew the ins & outs of the business. The end of a model year offers discounts as we all should know & you really should learn about the so called ten grand in discounts before making such a judgement but if your loyalty to the company that provided a livelihood for your father & you is so fragile maybe you should go elsewhere & you should quit your job at Ford & your Dad should give up his pension. Support the company that has put food on your table for 35 years. You should be ashamed....
  9. There is a article floating around from Reuters that says that there will be a dedicated series of Hybrid vehicles to compete with the Prius built there. I can't get the damn link to post to the article but if you google" Ford plans new hybrid series to compete with Toyota Prius", it will bring up the Reuters article.

IMPLEMENTATION OF ARTICLE 16, SECTION 2 – DUES INCREASE As you know, the 2014 UAW Constitutional Convention delegates voted to amend Article 16 of the UAW Constitution. One important amendment was Article 16, Section 2 regarding the dues ...increase. The dues increase shall be implemented, effective the first regularly scheduled pay roll period in which dues are normally deducted, beginning November 1, 2014.
