Heard of it? I'm not surprised if you haven't. It's a DOJ initiative that pressures banks to discontinue doing business with companies that the Administration has labeled "high risk" or otherwise objectionable, even though they are legally operated businesses. It's also not surprising that firearms related companies are on the list but this isn't about gun-control. Now, some of these businesses, like payday lenders, I find a but unsavory but I recognize they have a legal right to operate. But it is a HUGE concern that the administration is attempting to persecute businesses they don't like by executive fiat. This just reeks of the flagrant abuse of executive power disguised as a crime prevention initiative. I find some strong parallels to the IRS targeting scandal in that executive agencies are being used as operatives fighting a secret war on American citizens that the administration dislikes.
