  1. Brent L. It has been a long time man. Glad to hear you're still in the game. I've still got the porsche bug bad, but I'm still in the 99 for now. glad to see you're doing ok. Oliver
  2. Actually, I was a broker at Morgan Stanley for a while, and hated it. Im currently an analyst at the NYSE, investigating securities fraud and trading violations. My hair shouldn't fall out till around 65 if you think that stuff is hereditary. Import sports car, well, yeah that will probably be true. For those wondering, I was not able to sell the car, because it was still being worked on by a shop. In fact, I haven't seen it for 8 months. The shop is doing a blow thru conversion, a slightly smaller pulley, and a very detailed tune for streetability. I plan to hold on to the car for a bit to see how I enjoy it after all this. Fwiw, I did sell my daily driver Audi A4, and replaced it with a 2000 Mercedes-Benz E430 4matic (awd). Zenons, navigation, heated adjustable seats, power everything. Its pretty phenomenal. Nice talking to everyone again. oh, and if I forgot to mention, I got a firm offer for 17,500 for the cobra.
  3. keep in mind I have about 25k in mods, and mines a vert
  4. John, as depressing as it is, between 15k and 18k. Im getting a 96 Porsche Carrera 4 I've been working a lot at the NYSE, and I got into Stern business school, so thats also gonna keep me busy. Good to talk to you again. Oliver
  5. I've found a car that suits me better right now, and Im trying to dump the cobra ASAP. if anybody is at all interested, shoot me an email at Okamp05@gmail.com
  6. Thanks guys, i really appreciate it. The article wasn't exactly what i was looking for, but you can't argue with getting a stock looking black cobra vert in a magazine. Anyway, yeah its been a while since that pulley incident, and I still get the cold chill from it. i felt soo stupid and it was such a rookie mistake. However, it really was the machine shop's fault that the keyway broke. Anyway, thanks for the shout-out, I appreciate it. I wish this board had more action, but that seems to be a thing of the past. Anyways, I'll keep and eye on the posts on here. Agent99 out!
  7. hey guys. got the car back on thursday. put down 670rwhp/485rwtq on pump gas. had some issues with an stripped idler bolt hole. so thats a problem that i need to fix asap.
  8. John, Yes i graduated in may. I should be starting my MBA program this coming fall at Stern (NYU). I first accepted a job at Morgan Stanley, but hated it very quickly. In late september, I accepted an analyst position at the New York Stock Exchange, and here I am. Im still living in jersey for now, and will continue to do so for a while (looking at condos for next year). I met a wonderful girl and will most likely be proposing late next year. So things are going great for me, as I hope they are with you all. I still have the cobra, although its not in my current possesion because a shop is finishing up a 3.0 pulley swap and 8 rib conversion. 640rwhp is the expected goal. who knows if it will happen. As that goes, the car is running wonderfully. Aside from that nothing too exciting is happening. the true power freak I am, i chipped my DD Audi A4, but thats about it. Its been taking forever, but Im assuming that the Cobra will be in 5.0 Mustang and Superford magazine in the next few months but who really knows. The pics were taken this past april. Well anyway, back to work, but I hope things are well for everyone, and Happy Holidays. ~Oli
  9. Thought I should stop in and say hello. Not to many people in here apparently, but thats nothing new (well for the past year or so). Hope everybody is doing well and happy holidays to ya all.
