  1. Two points to make here as the "Bottom line to SWF" as far as this issue, his comments and all the posts in favor of commander K, So SWF, listen up.......... #1, The Union exists for you because it is "a business for YOUR union management" (Mgmt.which you are not but which you continually continue to berate). No members means no dues collected means those who represent you do not get paid and then have no business without people like yourself who are not highly educated and need others to negotiate for you even if you are a skilled trades person. You exist and are known to all the rest of us as someone whom we hire when we need our house re-wired or business electrical upgraded which puts you right between a burger flipper and a plumber/framer in the social hierarchy. You won't as you salutation suggests, back down and that just proves that you will continue to slam your head against this posting wall again and again trying to make your point in the sheer magnitude of others who will continue to laugh and slam you again and again over your responses. Just continue to respond and we will continue to slam just like I did on page 1 of this post (before K's status passing) and it will continue to reinforce our belief that you as noted above do not get it AND need others that are smarter then you to see the bigger picture and provide guidance and representation in your life. Party on dude! :happy feet: :happy feet: :happy feet: #2, My hope is that commander K quits FMC and starts his own business in the electrical field making more then you AND working for a dealership who would allow this service to continue and maybe offer a small charge ~ $10-$20 from order to delivery status....?? in collaboration with other dealerships who might pay to get the info through the build cycle there by helping the customer service side of Ford for all. This is just an individual thought with no guidance or representation from others unlike your poor sorry existance. SWF, Can you say "entrepreneur"?? Wow, what a concept! There's $$ to be had here folks and I like others would appreciate and have appreciated this service provided by K but appreciated by more then many here and around the country. Rest in Peace K, hope you return in another life as a customer service rep, you will become a hero again to others who do appreciate your effort!
  2. Well folks, Its good to see this thread is still going. I can now report after 1500+ miles and a 3/20/06 MONDAY build, no problems to date.(knock knock) :happy feet: This car is sooooooo sweet to drive and I just keep smiling each time I get in and pop the clutch. :banvictory: :tequila:
  3. Thanks to all who have given their takes on this subject. If all goes well, tomorrow might be the day I get the call from the dealer on my Black GT Vert. :happy feet: :happy feet: My railcar came in last Friday and I am now waiting for the car hauler to bring it to the dealer lot. We will put serious miles on it right away (80 miles / day in commuting) and see how the quality of the product stands for a late Thur to Monday build. More to come!
  4. Ford 4V, Good point on the timing issue and I like the analogy. From buck to Final........Two days is pretty quick if it happens this way but how about this, it starts on Friday to Sat and finishes on Monday for a posting of having come out of assembly on that Monday (which I think is how it is measured), Do you think it fairs any better or worst in this scenario vs. mid-week cars?
  5. Hey SWF, A couple of observations and my personal experience here on all your responses and rants noted above as it relates to corporate America and where Kzinti falls. It DOES starts w/ one person and if gets contagious it makes the company that much better then the competition that does not. I have managed your type and you fall in to the union bitch category. "Always a problem, never a solution" except to suck off the system as in doing your job when "you have to" and no more, hitting all your 10 minute breaks, "lining up at the clock" to run to your car and bitching at the lower senority people who either do more or do miss their breaks to sometime finish the job so its done right. If you put as much energy into your own personal build quality and you put that effort into every Ford vehicle you touch as you do in bitching at commander K in this post then customers like me would not have waited for twenty-eight years to buy another Ford as I did a month ago. Quality talks and you know what walks! This person is the out-front person for people like me who abandoned Ford a long time ago due to piss-poor quality and I have been w/ Honda until now and no my dealer (fleet manager) did not stay out in front on this factory-delivery info to me like Kzinti has. Continue living in your sour-grape mode as it applies to your peers, wait for the check and retire and fade into the sunset some day. If Ford has more people like this person on all front lines when I visit them for maintenance and/or problems in the future, I will tell you I will be back for more Ford products in the future and if not, this Mustang GT is the last I will ever buy! Be happy since we the customer will either continue to buy your product which will pay for your salary and pension or you can go the way of the following in Chapter 11 in your business (Dana joins Delphi Corp., the largest U.S. parts maker, Tower Automotive and Collins & Aikman in bankruptcy protection. Visteon Corp., the No. 2 parts maker, has said it plans to close and sell factories) and suffer the consequences. Your call.
  6. Gentleman, Thanks for the initial takes and commentary on factory build day vs. quality. :happy feet: My hope is that since I posted, approx. 1075 people have viewed and either have had no problems or like reading the comments. Others, Please post your observations/comment on quality if you know your build day in the factory. God knows with all those posts and requests for pony build days and commanders K's steller reputation for addressing, I'm sure more of you have opinions on this subject.
  7. So have to ask this question and get insight by this Forum feedback on your Mustang quality. Everybody knows or has tracked their pony as it went through the factory since it is well documented and Commander K has helped all! Just got this info from him specifically: Heard back from the plant today... Happy Birthday! Your pony was born last night! 1ZVFT85H965221670 Receipt Date: 2/22/2006 Serialize Date: 2/23/2006 Segment Date: 2/23/2006 Sequence Date: 3/3/2006 Blend Date: 3/10/2006 Produced Date: 3/20/2006 Gate Release Date: 3/20/2006 Ship Date: 3/20/2006 Arrival Date: 3/31/2006 at the Train Station, Now I need the car hauler to bring it to the dealer, This is killing me having to wait! Sold Date: ~~~4/7/2006, I'm told if all goes right......??? With this known and all out there also knowing their date of birth for their ponies, how does the old addage stack up on cars made on Monday and/or Friday's (or any other day for that matter)  How about a quick census?? :happy feet: :happy feet: Mine a 06' Black GT Vert w/ Lt Graphite leather, 18" bullits, wheel lock and theft (It's hard to keep things out here in So Cal) and I cannot wait to tag this pony w/ a CAI kit and tune for additional puff of power.
