  1. Just wondering if you worked at the Sandusky plant? Because I seen all of these same things there. I seen one when a guy lost his stacker license, and then the union got it back for him and filed a grievance for the over time he missed!!!! I'm just saying this shit is ford wide, not just at this plant shown. It is sickening, how can you be proud of the work you do when you are associated with these idiots??
  2. Just wanted to say that a weak U.S. dollar is actually good for tourism. You get more for your money. What happens when you go to Mexico? Are you richer or poorer?

  5. This type of stuff is Ford wide, and the Union backs it all the way, because they are usually sitting at the table with them. I seen a guy in my plant get cought coming back from the bar drunk, and getting ready to drive his stacker. Management had his lisence revoked, and placed him in a non driving job. two weaks later the union had his lisence reinstated and filed a grievence for the overtime he missed during those two weeks. Just makes me think in order for the union to stand up for whats right, somebody would have had to have gotten hurt or killed before they support the good workers.

  8. Someone told me they raised the education buyout wage from 50% of base rate to 70%. Can anyone confirm this?

  13. The lump sum is paid about three weeks after your last day of work, and then every year to follow on that same date. I took this buyou and after taxes only recieved 62% of my gross amount. Taxed as regular income It's after $5,300 It is half your base rate as of your last day of work, that can not change. But, come contract time if the groups benefits are renegotiated. then ours change to.Your Insurance is supposed to remain the same. This is true, but you do not have to gcontinue classes if you can't, but when you are better you only have whatever time you have left in the program to finish you education.
