  1. Yeah, just called the union. The letter from Settles seems to be getting misunderstood.
  2. Looks like a letter was distributed by Settles stating the maximum Compensated hours for this profit sharing year will be capped at 1850 hours this year.....total crap.....so your 3.97 x 1850 will give you a maximum benefit of $7344.50.......Thanks again negotiating team for this BS contract.....LOL
  3. I just noticed the same leak under my '08 Escape as well. It has been shifting funny too. I looked at my miles after I read your post and I'm about 1k miles from being out of warranty. If you are in SE Michigan, what dealer did you take your vehicle to? Thanks
  4. I got twenty seven dollars and fourteen cents for it.
  5. You must be a complete moron. Your fantasy has no credibility. Although we do appreciate that you have enough hostility pent up inside of yourself to continue to post your misspellings and grammatical errors. Although if you do find a way to get that stupid propaganda paper to stop being delivered to your home please post your methodology.....
  6. This didn't go like I thought it would. I know jerzey and I'm sure that letting some steam off on the keyboard might be his way of coping with the downtime. hope everyone has a good few weeks.
  7. You sure are high strung there my friend. Why don't you give me a call on your cell phone. I know I'm still on your contacts list. Talk to you later Mr. "L"
  8. I don't know how I'm still getting checks. I'm certainly not going to worry about things that are out of my control. As far as my finances, I have never invested money in Ford Motor Company. My wife does pretty well for herself as well.
  9. I have never in my life played as much golf as I have since DTP decided to take its summer siesta prior to building the 2009 F-150. I am only creating this thread so you guys can shed some light on the positive aspects of being laid off for the summer. I don't think you could have asked for a better time of year to be out of work (collecting an undisclosed amount of money per week). I am not a native, but have thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful summer. There have to be more golf courses in Michigan than in all of the other contiguous states (minus Florida) combined. There must be thirty GC's within a half hour of my house. The PGA championship was awesome! I also took some time to go home to Virginia to see the ocean. I remembered while I was there, why I hated Va. summers so much. I don't think it got under 94 degrees (for a high) the whole time I was there. I guess I didn't think that was hot until I moved here. I did not realize how much I missed the sound of waves crashing on the beach before I was away from it for so long. It was very therapeutic. My honey-do list is completely empty for the first time since I was married. I think if I were to get next summer off as well, I might be able to get my PGA Tour card. Well, have a nice rest of the summer and be ready to be the best truck building facility in North America when we start back in about a month. Hopefully management has spent some of these idol weeks improving there people skills.
  10. There are a lot of factors that come to mind. The most understated one is that Ford in the past and hopefully not to much more in the future has relied on fleet vehicle sales. This in turn throws off your supply and demand. If you sell thirty thousand fusions to the rental car companies, where do you think those babies are gonna be in twelve to eighteen months. I don't think ford can survive completely with out fleet car sales but they should try to restrict them to smaller quantities. Ford could learn a lesson from Honda. They only sell vehicles to private individuals. Being the biggest producer of a type of vehicle or vehicles is not always a good thing. Look at GM. They are history and so might Ford be if they don't get the big picture soon...... Even Toyota is feeling the "high volume related" woes...
  11. I'm still getting checks. Until they notify me otherwise I will stick to getting my check in the mail two days later. I also had my sub check direct deposited today from last weeks unemployment for weeks ending 7/26 and 8/02 I thought that was pretty damn fast!!!!
