Just wondering when the "build your own" for the 2017 Focus will available on the ford web site? I downloaded the order sheet but looking for Xplan pricing. Thanks for any info.

I talked to my local dealer with no clear answer as to if I can order a '14 Fusion 2.0 SE w/202 package that is made in Flat Rock. Does anyone know if there is a way to do that or if certain options/packages are ordered will ensure a Flat Rock car? Don't know if answers weren't forthcoming because it would be an Xplan order or not. I have searched dealer inventory and found some VIN 1 cars but not what I want. Thanks to anyone that replies.

That's fine that they are highly rated, but my feeling is that it is not totally because they are built in Mexico. New tooling and new technology definitely plays a big part in quality. Any new American made vehicle I've bought in the past 15 years have been much more trouble free than my foreign made ones except 1, an Olds. I'm talking little things like trim falling off, workmanship issues. I have much faith in the American worker.

Ok, thanks for the replys. Right now all of the 2013,s are VIN 3, Mexico. So I will wait or if I have to get a new car before Fusion VIN 1 I'll go with an Escape or Focus ST!!!.

Good morning all. I've been trying to find out when the 2013 Fusion will start being built at the Flat Rock plant? I also was wondering when it starts will there be a way to order one that is built there? I'm not in the market just yet, but getting ready. Thanks for any feedback.!

Thanks for the replys guys. The dealer "confirmed" that XM is only available with MyTouch on the Focus even though the salesman told her, and gave her all the XM info. When my wife then questioned the salesman and business manager they both got verrrry testy about the subject. Ah well, at least she really likes the car and is enjoying it more each day.

My wife just got her new 2012 Focus SEL Red with Tan Leather w/sync(no mytouch) and the dealer told her she had to activate the Sirius XM to get the 6 month free service. After trying everything to get the ESN needed to activate it and reading online, it seems that in the SEL without MyTouch, there is no Sirius module in the radio. As it is Sunday and the dealer is closed, can anyone verify that the SEL DOES NOT have the satellite module installed. Other than that after a 1000 miles she does love the car.
