  1. wowzers...13 years ago...Nick as well, both him and RJ are missed....I went through the whole thread...awesomeness
  2. they have...we had TWO 2023 Expedition Max on the lot...MSRP $93k....brand new 2025 Expy showed up, Platinum....8k CHEAPER...and some seriously NICE upgrades...
  3. ADD IN ZERO REGULATION........regulations everyone else abides by are ignored.....
  4. China plays by ONLY their own rules, and apparently we were sending them $ under the Paris Accord as they are listed as a 3rd world country
  5. new California high...$5.57 91 octane...and more refineries leaving the State....
  6. unreal...I would guess theres been some knowledge gained from their racing program as well....oh the SOUND!
  7. from my standpoint its working....I just hope it doesnt set a precedent when the program stops....because for some customers they will expect similar discounts....
  8. China also apparently constructs a Coal plant every 2-3 weeks...renewables may just be to appease the clean air and Climate nazis...
  9. keep in mind when he took office in his first term the DOW was 18000....its over 40000 now. Sadly I believe the Stock market is tuned more for those with discretionary income and can afford to "play" or participate through a 401k...it would be interesting to see if less are actually investing now due to the cost of livbing than say 6 -7 years ago....
  10. Ranger sales have somewhat tanked due to several factors...one body style is one, and starting MSRP of $37k...that said, Mavericks starting MSRP is $27k before D and D...thats up 7k from where they started....unreal...
  11. just saw this...warms my heart that the Mustang STILL elicits this type of interest and conversation..thats something not tyoo many manufacturers can brag about. Me...4 dr V8 6 speed manual...and none of this 80k Darkhorse BS....sheesh...
  12. feel blessed...I got hit with ( 91 octane Chevron ) $5.37 last night....but we ( California ) have "special" mixes....
  13. not just EVs....big issue right now is affordability...and thats across the lineup...it will lead to less sales, people keeping their cars longer and a boosted used car market....from my standpoint Im getting kinda worried...Rangers are a classic...they START at $35k plus, theres bugger all margin to dicker, no significant incentives and cheaper competition with more selection , and theres only one choice of body style....
  14. looks like ( not 100% but Ill circle back ) they have adressed the bed issue I was bitching about as well.....
  15. the 7500 went awayu but was there initially at least to boost sales...now its gone Ford has countered that with an $8750 rebate and a skimpy 0.05 lease rate ( lease IMO is the ONLY option on the car ).....or 3500 with 0 percent on a purchase ( DONT do it )....the good old ICE has a lousy lease and 5.9 for 60.....kinda underlines that the E require incentives to move.....
  16. for the life of me I cannot understand why it isnt a recall...caveat...Ford WILL pay for the braces but only if you buy a Ford Shell....................wow....just wow....
  17. PROMASTER?????????????? my god man WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?...Ive had so many of those POS's traded in its not funny...at 80k cylinder number three is a common failure.....
  18. beg to differ...massive rebates WITH 0% PLUS the $7500 tax benefit. All three combined, along with $300 a month leases were on the E....as I stated...put the same on the ICEs for a direct comparison....nothing to do with doors...those rebates were directly responsible for the "e"s market shbnare...without them the sales would have been dismal and this converstaion wouldnt be happening...it would be more along "why arent BEVs selling? "
  19. I have a rack installer that will NOT install the rack without the install of the brackets......
  20. exactly.....heres another parameter thats always missing from the conversation...how much did Ford lose per "E"....................the business model is NOT sustainable in my opinion, and the Headlines that paint the picture Electrics are doing well are like a Porn movie being edited to be PG13....theres a LOT left out of the full picture...
