  2. The heading under pic says -"Alan Mulally, Ford's chief, with clay models of various Ford cars, including a new Focus, far left, its “world car” that will be unveiled on Monday"
  3. Hey Trim , *Dec 21/12 will cure everything. No COLA when the world ends. I wonder if we would get short work week if the ended on Friday at 7:00 AM ? SARCASM INTENDED * if you believe in the Mayan calender , or the movie
  4. That just made me smile, I had the exact same thoughts regarding Edsel and Trimdingman. Edsel is just a blowhard looking to stir the pot. Nothing more , nothing less. He takes pleasure in ruffling peoples feathers. I would suggest if he bothers everyone so much , you put him on ignore and no one quote his useless info. I actually get a chuckle most times reading his halfwit posts and and knuckle dragging threats. Usually the smallest dog yaps the most. On a different note, OAC sparky, what are the #'s like for electricians there and what is the age demographic? Think there will be any openings when buyouts come???
  5. Did you hear this from someone on the microphone speaking at Copps?
  6. I assume this is not your favorite book . Thx for the laugh.
  7. SWEET, I guess I may just change my no vote now that I know they are not going to mess with my breaks
  8. Signing yes to this means our local will no longer exist, that is about as deep a shit as you can get in
  9. Well Ed, way to man up and apologize for your rage. For that I give you props *EDIT*(this has now been recanted due to the next post) But my questions now are... How does losing 1600 more good paying jobs (both for us and the government) help fix our economy? How does voting yes fix the economy any more than voting no? How does voting yes to losing ones job help them any more than voting no and riding out the current contract?? Can you be 100% certain that by voting yes they will not be back for more when the next crisis hits? Why must we always have a non informational, information meeting 1 hour before we are asked to vote our livelyhoods away? How does turning St Thomas into a ghost town and raising Southwold County property taxes by an unimaginable amount benefit anyone? So when you come on here demanding us to see your point of view, all we ask is see ours too. I say we ask for more time to make a true informed decision on the actual contract and all its ratifications and concessions, not a slideshow presentation of the candy coated parts. Then once we have had a chance to digest ALL THE FACTS ( not just the ones they will feed us) we can truly vote as informed individuals and not go off half cocked. No pun intended
