  1. I did not know that he was "New"...... According to the press releases the MKS was supposed to indicate the new direction of Lincoln designs.... I guess that was not accurate....
  2. For Lincoln's sake, I hope he came on board AFTER the recent MKS/MKT disasters.... If that is the case, then I think that there is hope.....
  3. No, I think that the latest styling designs from Lincoln were horrible..... I think I am entitled to an opinion...
  4. If you don't like my posts, don't read them....Problem solved...
  5. I think that they need a new design department as well......
  6. I am pretty sure Ford could have fixed that it they had wanted to....
  7. I honestly believe that if the Current Ranger had been give a modern engine and six speed+ transmission it would have been a big hit..... I guess we will never know....
  8. The only way would be to go down hill at 75mph....... It is complete BS....
  9. If this was directed at me, you totals missed my point...... I think 17-18mpg for my truck at 75mph is reasonable.... If fact my truck gets more or less what Ford says it will get. What I am trying to point out is that these claims people post on the internet of 20+mpg at 75mph in one of these trucks is complete bull $hit....
  10. I think you are still wrong, but at least you pointed out that it would have to be absolutely perfect conditions (extremely rare in the real world) and could not, by ANY reasonable person, be though of as normal driving conditions.... Several people here have said my measured results of 17.5 at 75mph on flat ground are abnormally low and this 20mpg at 75mph is some how closer to normal. Does that seem to be a valid conclusion to you? I should point out that the Highway and Highspeed portion of the EPA test tops out at 21mpg and has an average test speed of 48.4mph. The Highway speed never exceeds 60mph....
  11. I really wish there was a valid way for us to do a bet on this.....Easy Money.....
  12. And you would be correct....... At 60mph on level ground it will get 20-21mpg. My truck did that on a recent trip to Florida. When I crused at 75mph on mostly level ground the best it would do over time is about 17.5mpg.... I am nearly certain that NO 4x4 F150 Ecoboost Supercrew will get 20mpg at 75mph.... I would love to see a video of anyone that can sustain that MPG at that speed over say 10 miles with the cruse set. ( without going down hill the entire way) Basically get it up to 75mph. Reset the trip computer ( which usually reads a little on the happy side) and hold the speed. I don't think it would do it even on level ground..... I have seen many of these claims on the internet, but I have never seen any video evidence that can back up the claim.... I have seen a few that made the claim, but they also showed the trip computer that gave miles driven and elapsed time. When you do the math you realize that the avg speed was closer to 60mph which is of course reasonable....
  13. Bottom line: Do you think the Ecoboost 4x4 super crew will get 20mpg at 75mph or not?????
  14. I am an engineer as well... If you get enough anecdotal evidence you can establish a trend..... Common sense and personal experience tells me that these trucks DO NOT get 20mpg at 75mph on non-level ground. Would you agree or not?
