  1. A Huge Thanks to Team Mustang... A couple weeks ago I participated in a track event at the Dearborn Proving Grounds, held in conjunction with Mustang Alley / Woodward Cruise. Friday morning seventy-five invitees met at the Ford World HQ for a briefing of the day’s track activities, from there we had a police escort to the proving grounds. We were than led onto the High Speed test track for a couple laps before parking and getting shuttled to a infield building fo the day’s activities. Events: Hot Lap – Laps around the twisty infield test track by one of Ford’s professional drivers in Mustang test mules, new Shelby GT350 and a Ford GT. Skid Pad – A trip through the wet pad, again by the hand of a professional drivers in Mustangs. Test Drive – A coned off autocross like track setup for test drives… a new Fiesta, Taurus SHO and several Mustangs. 2012 Boss 302 Laguna Seca Unveiling – Enough said! We had a great time and hope Team Mustang plans on making thisa yearly event. More pictures... http://mustangalley.shutterfly.com/2010pictures/2 Team Mustang Track Event
  2. On a recent trip from Chicago to Detroit for the Woodward Cruise I got 25mpg in my 3.73 geared GT with the AC blowing and the cruise set between 70-80 for most of the trip.
  3. I've had my '11 GT Premium for a about month and 2,500 miles. It's been great so far, zero complaints. This is my seventh Mustang and by far the best. My cardomain link
  4. My current DD 1998 Explorer Sport 4.0L has just under 200k, so far just normal maintenance items and one upper ball joint. Everything else is original including the exhaust. The toys: 1967 Mustang – 70k 1993 Mustang Cobra R – 3k 1991 Mustang LX 5.0 – 51k 2003 F150 Lightning – 40k Past: 1979 Mustang Ghia 3.3L - 215k 1988 Mustang GT - 150k
  5. Sharp truck. I'm looking at black 2010 Adrenilin to replace my exploder, can't decide between that and a f150 crew.
  6. It looks good. I hope there will be a Lightning version in it's future.
  7. Wow that's incredible. I've been more than happy with my '98 Explorer Sport 4.0 thats gone 200k with no major failures.
  8. I'll try not to sound too biased but I think the "R" cars will be worth more just based on production #s. It's still way to early to tell, give it ten years or so..

    Best MPG

On trips between Detroit and Chicago I've received 33mpg with my old '03 SVT Focus. Usually was good for 22-26 in the city.
  10. Looks cool. I'd love to find a nice clean Faimont.
