I'm a m/w in zone 1. I am surplus and I have not been told that I have a job yet. The only problem with this process is it not very transparent. I just hope they tell us we have a job soon this not knowing is driving me crazy.

I think the key word is when they have surplus in zone. They have had guys retire in zone 2 and have only posted for one M/W job in zone 2 so they dont want to replace any of those guys with no surplus in that zone. -
Go up for bid. That's B.S. high replaces low one for one as you go down the list. If they open it for bid that's screwed up.

The joke is they have not even told the people that posted for in zone jobs if they got them yet. Now they post for out of zone with 3 days to make up your mind not knowing where you stand.

$2500 for people who just hired in a couple months ago? Of course it will pass. You have to pledge allegiance to the french before you can vote. They get 80 hours vac too. Thats more than ach was giving them after 5+ years. I just hope they let all ach go to ford like they said.

Then you would be bitching that you got laid off in a few months when saline is sold. It don't make alot of sense to put someone in a slot that is going to be eliminated soon. This whole thing is tuning into a mess the union should just come out with a statement on there plan and we could go from there. Oh wait there is no plan. -
The Flex might be better for towing for you longer wheel base and I think up to 4500lbs. Do your home work with towing its not just trailer weight its what you put in the vehicle too.
