  1. We picked up the new Mustang and wanted to thank you for helping us with updates. It is very cool that you do this. Thanks. Before we picked it up we had them tint the windows, install a different spoiler and side window louvers painted flat black, and lighted door sills.
  2. May I please have an update on this vehicle? I am hopeful that this will be the last one needed. Dealer: F24408 Order: 0334 2012 Mustang - VIN 1ZVBP8AM5C5260094 Thanks again for all your help. I appreciate it. Once we take delivery I will post a pic for you. Have a great day.

  4. I love the wagon. Give it some guts and an available manual and I would consider buying one.
  5. This is exactly how it went when we ordered a Mustang recently for my son. They locked in the rebate offer but said that any better rebates will be made available to us.
  6. This is my point. If they missed something that obvious at the plant then what else did they miss? Not that I think it means the end of the world either. Just something that would concern me.
  7. Please give me a status update on the following vehicle: Dealer Code: 24B408 Bartow Ford Co - Bartow, FL Order Number: 0334 2012 Mustang V6 Premium Grabber Blue Thanks for your time. Have a great day.
  8. I can't speak for anyone else but seeing some of the cosmetic issues that is shown in these pictures would lead me to wonder what else was wrong that I can't see. Cosmetic issues are not recurring problems but it would certainly raise a red flag with me about the quality of the vehicle. Only time will tell if that is the case with the new Focus. It is disappointing to me because we had considered moving from our current Mazda 3 to a new Focus. Now I think we will wait a bit longer.
  9. The Mustang is a pony car. It just can't have 4 doors. However I would love a car the size of the Fusion with the 5.0 tucked inside. Grocery runs would suddenly become a lot more fun.
  10. Having just ordered a new Mustang I can certainly get on board with this idea. I can see at least one potential customer service issue though. Assuming that an auto plant is similar to some of the other industrial facilities I work in a schedule is just a suggestion. Many things can cause problems with production and delays are inevitable. Once you give a customer a build date/ETA or whatever any delay is going to become a big deal. There are ways to address these issues but I am sure that has to factor into why they don't already make this easier. It has the potential to be a customer service nightmare.
  11. Around '91 my dad was getting his '62 Vette restored at a shop in Little Rock, AR. I rode up with him to check on it one day and lucked out because they had one on their used car lot at the restoration shop. He took us for a ride on the interstate and going 60 MPH he punched it and the back end broke loose. It was a crazy car.
  12. I had 2 different fox body Mustangs and 1 SN95. For me the beauty of the fox body was the engine, not the exterior. I feel exactly the opposite about the SN95 models. They brought some curves to the Mustang but failed to give it any guts. Hopefully the current design team can bring together a beautiful body with the latest 5.0 and create an amazing car. Time will tell.
  13. That is a sweet looking ride but I am not sure I feel about it being a Mustang. At some point Ford designers are going to have to move on from the retro styling design but I certainly don't envy them the task. It is hard to capture the spirit of the Mustang while adding modern design cues.
  14. The Falcon Ute is a cool concept and probably has a ton of utility however the dimensions just seem off a bit to me. Rather than looking like a smooth flowing design it just looks like they took a sedan, cut off the back half, and slapped a truck bed back there. I do love the idea of a new Torino. I had a 1975 Torino with a 351W during the early 90's. I loved that big piece of crap. Dark blue paint with a dark blue top. Limo tint on the windows. Big mag wheels. It was awesome.
  15. Hello all. I've been a member here for awhile but it has been a long time since I stopped by. Previously had several Mustangs but have moved on to other vehicle for various reasons. We just ordered a new Mustang for my son so my interest has been rekindled. He will be getting a 2012 Mustang V6 in Grabber Blue with the performance package. It should be awesome. I am attaching a screenshot from the car builder on ford.com that shows how it will look. He is very excited.
