  1. Wonder how it works at a red light, stop sign or stop and go traffic. And I would not want this. I like engaging the clutch with my foot. I find this very similar to tiptronic type shifters moving it up/down (+/-) and not what I want in a manual.
  2. When media wants to build a relationship with a manufacturer and is given the privilege of getting preproduction models for testing. And then given the privilege to be able to write their articles so they can be published immediately at the time of unveiling (which gives them clicks, advertisement and income)... well that said publication KNOWS that the manufacturer would not want these photos published. And when they know the OEM would not want them published but chooses to do so anyways, well it is on the publication then who chose to ruin that relationship. That was an idiotic move for them to publish those. And their video said they dont owe the OEM anything, they owe it to the people to publish it. Since it is the relationship with the people you care about, then there should be no issue with the OEM dropping your special privileges that they had given you.
  3. Front end of the Mach-E is far better visually. However, that 3rd pic of the left rear quarter looks terrible on it. The bump at the lower bumper, then the bump out below the taillights and then bump out again above the lights (spoiler) and how the rear slopes.. it just does not look good. From the rear looking straight on looks good. Have to give Tesla the win for the rear but a lose for the front.
  4. 475hp and a crap ton more torque for some of us.. for a little extra $$$ lol
  5. Why does the page show 10 replies but I dont see any including my original reply?
  6. Because some people want a car.. not a CUV, not a SUV or a truck. I am on my 5th Ford in 20 years and have blue blood but I will not buy a SUV to stay with Ford if I want a car and they do not offer it. I am not the only one. I am not saying they need 6 different models, but I wish they would keep a couple around. Heck the fusion completely redone and the Continental would be perfect for most. Every single model you stated falls in the "not a car" category. That is why SOME keep repeating themself.
  7. I agree to an extent. You may not make a ton of money on the lower sedans but if you are losing those customers to competition because they want a car, then a little profit is better then no profit (pending production isn't limiting the more profitable vehicles). Now if a vehicle is costing you money to make then I agree kill it. You want to deposit the checks, not write them.
  8. Could it be that part of the 12% number is because people are doing away with them? I love my F350, I love my Explorer ST but I also love a nice car to drive in as well.
  9. I googled Model Y refused and found many threads on this with pictures. Several on reddit.
  10. 99.999% sure there is a Bronco R from what I was told yesterday (claims to have seen it).
  11. Amazing when you can consistently read a post and know who posted it without even looking at the name..... every single time.
  12. Exactly! Let's try to reach out to Ford about the pics we should have never posted for the readers... while the pics are still posted. So stupid.
  13. Since this covers Ford, figured I'd post it here. So 55% of SDs have to be electric by 2035... https://www.yahoo.com/news/california-shakes-auto-industry-says-180026843.html Under guidelines approved Thursday, at least 40 percent of the tractor trailers sold in California would have to be powered by some form of zero-emissions technology by 2024. Medium-duty trucks, such as the Ford F-250 or Chevrolet Silverado HD, would be required to switch over 55 percent of their sales by 2035; and 75 percent of delivery trucks and vans would have to use zero-emissions powertrain technology by 2035, a point by which fully 100 percent of government fleets and last-mile delivery trucks would have to meet the target.
  14. Didn't realize typing was so audible. Yes this is my worthless/pointless reply to your worthless/pointless reply.
  15. The "powerboost" on the front door is terrible.. that has to come off.
  16. Can't find TFL's 2021 F150 articles... oh wait lol.
  17. UGHHH.. powerboost?? Hate the name. But boy these trucks are gorgeous. Hope these fold flat seats make it to the SD soon. I've slept many of times in my SD during snow storms and this would be awesome to have.
  18. Small blurb from Fordauthority.com. this is the explorer but my guess is same exact issue with all of them. The Ford Explorer corroding hood issue stems from iron contamination of the aluminum panel prior to the application of paint during production. Over time, the iron particles move into the aluminum body part, causing it to corrode. As highlighted in a recent report from Car Complaints, Ford has already created several technical service bulletins (TSB) on the issue. The first was in 2004, followed by a second in 2006 and a third in 2016. A fourth TSB was issued in February of 2019 that recommended outright panel replacement.
  19. Not an expert but I believe at the factory. Hoods get contaminated and not prepped properly for paint. My 2011 had bubbling under the lip but never made its way to the edge. I have seen way too many Exprer owners need hood replacements and many many people get screwed by Ford on this. Really no different then the mustangs and rear liftgates of the Expeditions and Navigators. It is a real shame frankly..
  20. Same issue with the 11+ 5th gen explorers.. the aluminum is contaminated from the factory and the paint flakes. No way to fix it without replacing the hood and prepping the new one properly. Ford started a 5yr unlimited mile warranty on the aluminum for 2016+ Explorers and told the 11-15 owners to pound sand.
  21. Posted in the order guide section early this morning. https://blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/files/category/15-mustang/
  22. Let's look at it a different way, if they are uninvited, why not take them down once they got uninvited as a sign of good will since they know once the uninvited came, Ford is pissed they published them. No, of course not, let's keep them up on their site because it draws clicks and advertisement.
