  1. Figured I'd add a link for you http://www.businessweek.com/news/2014-10-15/gm-sued-for-10-billion-over-losses-on-27-million-cars
  2. I would suggest rereading the rules and following them or Cyberdman will not help you out.
  3. Yes, Ford has said they found the assembly line at the wrong angle which was causing solder to possible run down the board causing a malfunction. There was also ribbon cable issues and there was one other issue (they found 3). But this was resolved I believe 2 years ago. http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=320445&highlight=power+steering 793 posts on this issue and 40 pages. Here is a fantastic quote from 8/20/14 - "Beware! I got mine " fixed" the first week of the recall and it just failed AGAIN!!!! I am terrified! Now where am I supposed to turn for help?" Although reduced, this issue has not been fixed. And I will say it again, this reflash is just a bandaid fix!!
  4. I have to respectfully disagree. Ford found this issue out quite a while ago and yet 2013s and 2014s are still having issues. Granted to a lesser degree but even replacement EPAS units are failing. This problem has not been 100% resolved and it should be. There is no reason for these failures and for customers to be left with a $1,500 repair. Hell, there was a customer who bought a 2014 Explorer and when picking it up, it failed at the dealership and they had to order a replacement. Just because a software update causes the power steering not to completely go to manual mode does not solve the problem of them still failing. The fact that they can and will still fail but will leave the customer with power steering still... well that still sticks them with a bill for a replacement unless the recall is going to cover unlimited replacements.
  5. I have not had this failure with my Explorer but follow the Explorer forums and there are hundreds of posts about the Epas failures and that it is extremely difficult to steer when it happens. Most happen at very low speed and we all know that turning without power steering unexpectedly at slow speeds is difficult. Ford has already issued a recall on them which in my opinion only bandaids the real issue. Ford needs to step up and finally fix this issue.
  6. and then.... and then.... and then......... No and then... http://news.yahoo.com/gm-halts-delivery-pickups-over-faulty-air-bags-171310343.html
  7. Yes, I remember those rumors as well. I wish I knew what size it was but can't confirm anything as I was not told anything beyond what was under the hood. It has to be one hell of a power plant with a eco v8.
  8. I really don't have a ton of info on this. I know about 3 weeks ago there was a "get together" with Ford employees and were showing a bunch of vehicles with "M" plates on them.. it was more of a "tell us your feedback on what you see" type of thing. Yes, it was in a Superduty and it was a ecoboost v8 (not sure size). I really don't have any more specifics then that.. so there is at least one out there but again, who knows if it will go beyond this point. I can't see it being in a Superduty.. not with the CAFE regulations.. could it be in a super car, possibly.. I heard that the GT500 will have a special power plant in it but they would not tell me any more then that. I know one of those Superduty's had the 15 Expeditions dash and center shift.. one had a refrigerator in it.. one had the ambient lighting in it.. LED bed lighting.. Wish I could give more solid info but they won't spill any more then that vague details.. enough just to tease me lol.
  9. I do know there is a twin turbo v8 (ecoboost) being tested currently. Do not know if it will make it to production but it is out there on the streets in a mule. Not even sure what application it would go in but it is not in a car platform at the moment, at least the one I am aware of.

  11. Love the look of it!! https://autos.yahoo.com/news/2015-roush-mustang-looks-much-more-aggressive-113046465.html
  12. They could easily put that into the start up process as well on one of the screens. Not too difficult to fix BUT I agree, how did they miss this?
  13. Less then 24 hours to build a truck. Delivery usually within a couple weeks after built.
  14. It took me a second to realize that you did all that on purpose.. silly me. PS - I would have deleted this if I could have after I realized what you did there lol.
  15. I got quite a few kicks out of reading this article.. https://autos.yahoo.com/news/2015-toyota-tundra-trd-pro-starts-41-285-120015848.html ^^^ So a little lift and Bilstein Shocks.. Should one really promote Multi Reflector Halogens?? ^^^ Who the hell approves these designs and thinks to themselves "Gee, that looks really good"???
  16. Exactly but instead, he threatens a lawyer over something that is HIS mistake in not knowing or researching. Upset with a product he purchased and Im going to get an attorney because I regret my purchase. lol
  17. Not one person called you any names on here in ANY post in this thread. May want to stop drinking that "kool aide" you so like to mention.
  18. If you paid $70,000, you paid too much. PS - your attorney?? LMAO, good luck with that. Hahahaha
  19. Dealer cost is about $430.. $480 for the kit through discount Ford dealers online... Takes literally 3 minutes to install yourself.. I did it on my 2015. Works great but the one thing I noticed you said was that you can run it for 30 minutes.. How exactly do you do this since the unit runs off the factory remote start and factory remote start settings?
  20. This is just genious!!! https://www.yahoo.com/autos/news/gm-recall-puts-bad-ignition-switches-back-cars-181500602.html "Its a bad situation when a recall has to be recalled. Now after having recalled 15.3 million cars to remedy defective ignition switches and keys, General Motors is recalling some of them again, because they may have had new defective switches installed in the course of the original recall. Some cars may even have had good ignition switches replaced with bad ones when they were first recalled."
  21. https://www.yahoo.com/autos/news/2015-chevy-colorado-gmc-canyon-prices-21k-5k-123005307.html Chevy's offering is cheapest of the duo, starting at $20,995 for the single cab model, powered by a 2.5-liter, 200-horsepower four-cylinder with direct injection and a six-speed manual transmission. The engine also delivers 191 pounds-feet of torque, using variable valve timing to ensure strong responses throughout the mid-range. The entry-level Canyon utilizes the same power unit and transmission, but prices start at $21,880.
  22. The all new SD is 2017, not 16. A few comments including someone who I know that tests these say it looks like a gas motor, not diesel.
  23. Post in the vehicle tracking forum but you need 15 posts before you can do it. Also read the rules specific to tracking.
  24. Hi Cyberdman Looking for an update please and thank you 1FT8W3BT2FEA97059
