  1. Some would say that the Santa Cruz was more attractive, and we all know how that worked out. Heck, I'm just hoping that the (possible) 2028 update doesn't screw the Maverick up. I'll be more than ready for a new one by then. HRG
  2. I wonder if the 4WD lock on my Tremor would pass the 3-roller test. I would assume so. I don't need no stinkin' computer to think for me,,,,,,,, HRG
  3. Ben, I'm headed up to the Turtle Flambeau Flowage in 2 weeks, and with 51 being closed S of Minoqua, I'll take 10 over to 13 to head north. I'll wave as we go by. As far as cows, I thought that WI farms were pretty typical, until I was out in western NE and CO a few weeks ago. 1000's of cows per farm, just huge operations. HRG
  4. I ordered my '23 XLT/FX4 as soon as I knew I was retiring, and needed to replace my company car. Didn't realize how much I would miss the push to start button, so as soon as the '24's were available to order, I ordered a Lariat. I kept looking at Tremor's, when I realized that Atlas Blue was being discontinued, as well as the physical buttons on the dash, I found a Lariat Tremor optioned exactly as I wanted, at a dealer willing to give a fair trade-in value, and accept the Z-plan. The '24 Tremor now has 39K on it, so a '27 might be in the works, depending on color options. Supposedly a redesign coming for '28, not sure what that will bring to the table. On a recent trip out to CO, found a '26 Tremor in black that I almost thought about looking at. I've got a VERY understanding wife, so that helps,,,,, HRG
  5. I couldn't be happier that my brother is a Ford Retiree, so I can still use his Z-plan when I need to. Funny thing is, the dealership that I bought my first 2 Mavericks from told me after delivery of the 2nd that they would no longer accept the Plan pricing, so my wife's '24 Edge and my '24 Mav both came from other dealerships, 1 of them a 325 mile ride away. Yes, the trade-in values can be brutal, since there's no place to hide a mark-up. I do my homework with Carmax/Carvana pricing, compare what my loss of tax credit could be, and negotiate something in the middle. HRG My '24 Lariat when I traded in for my '24 Lariat Tremor.
  6. That would need a tape measure on the side, saying you must be LESS that 54" tall to sit in the 3rd row. Overall, I agree, it's not that bad. HRG
  7. Huh? This is where your link takes me,,,, HRG
  8. Really? They did a R8C Museum delivery at the National Corvette Museum back on March 16th of a customer car. HRG
  9. Any idea why they consider the Corvette ZR1X to be a "prototype"? It's certainly street legal. HRG
  10. Wonder if that has changed since the 2022 report, since Maverick is no longer the $20K bargain it once was. And since Civic offers a hybrid, maybe sedan buyers realized a truck makes more sense? HRG
  11. If I'm going to be first in line at a light, in the right lane, I'll look in the mirror to see if the person behind me has their turn signal on, and if possible, I'll move over a lane to allow them to make a right turn on red. When they don't bother to turn their turn signal on until the last moment, I almost want to get out and walk back there, and explain to them that they can now wait,,,,,,, HRG
  12. Are you looking at the Gas Buddy price map to give you an idea of fuel costs along your trip? https://www.gasbuddy.com/tripcostcalculator HRG
