  1. 2025 Hyundai Tucson refreshed with more buttons and knobs at NY Auto Show - Autoblog 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz adds rugged XRT trim, fresh interior at NY Auto Show - Autoblog
  2. More photos from the official debut: Looks like it'll be getting a hatchback version too:
  3. Genesis Neolun previews future of Genesis and a flagship SUV - Autoblog
  4. I just noticed that the dash/upper door panel on the drivers side is black, and the passenger side is the greenish color.
  5. I personally don't want the Apple interface taking over everything in the car - I'd rather have the factory setup, and the apple version within for certain functions.
  6. Redesigned 2025 Nissan Kicks gets more power, optional AWD - Autoblog The wheels are horrible but the rest is much better looking - they got rid of the pig snout grille.
  7. Kia K4 revealed for New York as the Forte's successor - Autoblog I don't like that rear fender hip thing, it looks odd. So does the C/D-pillar window treatment. Interior looks nice for the segment.
  8. https://www.autoblog.com/2024/03/21/bmw-vision-neue-klasse-x-reveal-details/ The upcoming design language on BMW SUVs: I simultaneously like the move back to a smaller grille (or I guess "grille"), while also not really liking the rest of it. It looks like the generic SUVs you see in video games, with a BMW-like grille slapped on.
  9. It's hard to tell from the angle posted above. Yes, it does: Agreed - for brands that have had it for years, it's fine like Lincoln, or even Porsche. But with just about everyone doing it now, it's annoying.
  10. I know some have mentioned it before, but another factor to consider is that the initial models are carrying the entire weight of building out Ford's EV infrastructure (production, design, etc), that future models won't have to bear outside of that particular model's development costs.
  11. 1) Price 2) Charging Those are the biggest limitations to EVs. Figure out #1 and people will figure out #2 if price is close enough, and infrastructure will get better.
  12. Who'd have thought that lowering the price would spur sales? Lol.
  13. I'd agree that they should at least be present there at the show even if not debuting anything.
  14. Or.....if they're debuting Expy at the show, they don't want to overshadow it with Navigator, and vice-versa, so it'll be at a separate event....
  15. They really don't drive any differently than a regular car. The biggest difference drive-wise is learning where controls are on the screen, but you'd have to learn the controls of a car you aren't familiar with regardless of brand. The charging would be the biggest differentiating factor.
  16. I'm sure it'll be the best thing since sliced bread for the GM fans, while the Mach E was horrible.
  17. That's a huge difference - it means you could get the full amount off of a car, whereas you may only get a few hundred (or some portion) of the rebate on your own taxes.
  18. As we’ve discussed in other threads, rentals are probably the worst application for EVs as-is with the lack of widespread charging infrastructure. people on trips can’t charge at most hotels and usually don’t have time to go find a charger
  19. the issue for me is that how many sales are they missing out on because it’s mostly the same model as the 4 year old ones? though I’d still argue refreshes are necessary if the work weren’t done for it, I think it’s even worse here since the engineering for the changed have already been done
  20. The only ones that have that setup are the BMWs and Range Rovers.....and I think the Range Rovers have it because BMW designed the 2002 Range Rover and that setup has just carried over since. My mom's X7 has the split setup, and aside from creating a sort of lip to hold items in, I don't really understand the added benefit for that setup. Also, it's worth mentioning that the Expy/Navigator (and others at this size) are larger than the BMWs/RR, which would result in a longer tailgate drop, making it more difficult to access items in the cargo area (since you'd be further away from the opening with a tailgate).
  21. I don't see Ford completely re-engineering the rear liftgate away from a design they've used for decades now - the liftglass/liftgate approach. ....especially if body wise, this is going to be more of a rebody than a 100% full redesign.......the detailing on the liftgate (the sheetmetal below the beltline) will be new, but I wouldn't be shocked if they kept the same upper portion. That said, perhaps the move to the hidden rear wiper in the spoiler created issues with the liftglass design as-is?
