It has to be a contributing factor.  They are nice vehicles, but the cost goes way up when you start adding options, which is why I would consider a used model over new now.

Not even so much the options, but the extreme increases vs. debut pricing just a couple of years ago, as I've mentioned before.

    And 1 Viper lol

I swear that FCA must have a warehouse somewhere that they just plop some of these vehicles in and roll them out occasionally just to mess with the folks that do the sales charts.  I have no idea how they always seem to have a random sale here and there of models that were discontinued 5+ years ago.

Completely agree, but if the 4-cylinder EcoBoost is so fast and more practical, then it begs the question why are most buyers choosing the V8?  Are they choosing V8 or avoiding 4-cylinder?

Both Mustangs I’ve owned had V8s, so I may be a little biased. 😆

    When I had my Mustang, I didn't even consider the 4-cylinder.  I wouldn't have considered a 6-cylinder either.  It was V8 or I wasn't getting one.

Perhaps, but people who work with Ford's all day can't tell the difference between a mustang that still looks like an s650 vs a ground up mid-engine exotic when it's right in front of them? Yet my 60 yr. old mother who knows little about cars can spot the difference between a c8 Corvette and a Ferrari from down the street.

    You'd be surprised....

I like most of the Koreans styling over the last 5-6 years but I don’t like any of the new stuff at all.  Just personal preference I’m sure they’ll sell just fine.

Santa Fe just looks like any other Asian crossover with the rear roof cut off.  And it’s really stubby.

move seen a few Santa Fe’s and it’s definitely reminiscent of Flex, but worse.  The rear looks like an 70s-80s van

The ergonomics and controls inconsistency between the full sized trucks/SUVs and other vehicles drives me nuts.  With F series being the cash (and volume) cow they pretty much get to do whatever they want and the so do the other teams.  Simple things like having the audio steering controls on the same side would help.  My F150 is on the right while the Nautilus is on the left.

Bronco is even worse - they put the volume controls on the left side and the previous/next track/station controls on the right side.  It's obnoxious switching back and forth if you primarily drive with one hand.
