  1. My dealer gave me a $50 dollar commission check when a friend I brought in purchased a vehicle.
  2. Ironically these pickup trucks are still referred to as 1/2 tons. Remember when you had to step up to a F250 to get 3/4 payload.
  3. The engineering and manufacturing cost for hand cranked windows given the rather small market would make them more expensive than just throwing in power windows.
  4. They want clear the 2011 inventory, before they update the web page to the 2012 vehicle.
  5. Funny, it is just the opposite here. A 4WD Limited can barely get unloaded from the truck before it is sold. There is no shortage of XLT and FWD. I bought a loaded Limited 4WD and it has only rolled of the factory line 2 weeks before and had only been at the dealer for a couple of days.
  6. They are yammering on the phone going 10MPH below the speed limit. Granted they are in the fast lane swerving from one side of the lane to the other, but they are not getting speeding tickets.
  7. You might want to pass that onto Toyota as well. The Corolla, Matrix and Yaris still have 4 speeds.
  8. The new Camry looks satisfactory, now if I can just decide on which shade of Beige to get.
  9. I figured that blind drivers was a very limited market, I am surprised that Honda sold that many.
  10. Personally I wouldn't want it to be hyper-sensitive like an iPhone, I think that the positive force is a good thing considering you are reaching out while the car is moving and sometimes a little bump can move your finger. The touch sensitive nature of the screen allows it be used with gloves on. On the iPhone that can be a little annoying in the winter, granted you can't do a whole lot with gloves on, but I can't even swipe to answer a call.
  11. I like cars with names, bring back the Zephyr, Navigator and revive some other nice heritage names.
  12. I'm game, I will try 40 psi instead of the 35. I do have the 255/50R20 so I am concerned about ride quality. I usually only do 3 psi above spec.
  13. You are rolling on about $1200 to $1600 worth of rubber, why would you over inflate the tires to squeeze a couple of extra MPG. An under inflated tire will not apply the proper pressure to the center part of the tread and the edges will wear out before the center. An over inflated tire will have so much pressure, that the center will bulge and wear prematurely. Lets say that the properly inflated tires are good for 50K miles and the over inflated tires only last 25K. To cover the same 50K miles you are going to spend $1200 more, That would buy 300+ gallons of gas or enough to drive 6000+ miles. Now lets throw in a couple of other factors, the ride is terrible and you don't have the proper contract patch so your braking is compromised. Stick with the manufacturers recommend pressure or maybe 2 PSI above.
  14. I am so disappointed in Ford for this one, the F-150 should be about as American as you can get. I just bought a 2011 Explorer, it is 85% domestic content with an American engine, transmission and it is of course assembled in Chicago.
