  1. Even the article I posted did not say it was not going to happen, just the timeline is not going to happen. And you can "clarify" all you want, but murphy won't be here by 27, and this is the first time a powerful NJ Dem has cast any doubt's on the timeline. So I guess we will see

  3. Thanks. I have a 250 on order and supposedly built last week, but I don't want to order the escape until right after I pick up the 250. I guess about a month until 250 shows up, so I guess that would still be OK.
  4. Anyone know when the 23 escape order banks close?
  5. Makes an XL look like a King Ranch.......
  6. You mean an allocation that was in the works, just changed to my specific build? Must have had two, as another guy I have been PMing on FTE put his order in with same dealer, a week before me, and got his confirmation and VIN about as long as it took to get mine. This is the thread he put up. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1725362-from-ordered-to-scheduled-in-3-days.html Here is his full build (he sent it to me SEPCOR). 7. I agree. One of the reasons I did not order a 6G bronco, was I didn't know when, if ever, I would get it and the more time went on, who got theirs and who didn't seemed all over the map. This SD had very little in options, so I gave it a shot thinking maybe. I didn't post to annoy others, I strictly posted to show that apparently, it was not the HO (or anything else on my order) that was holding up someone else's order, it was something else on your option sheet. I thought about the 360 cameras, XLT premium, and even the spray in liner, but the way I am getting this truck, is the way I've been living with my 05 dodge for 18 years, so I really didn't need any more over and above that. I did (maybe it wasn't clear) and it was
  8. Says in production as of today, wasn't even scheduled until the 23rd.
  9. Yeah. I only posted as it was suggested that the HO or upfitter's were possibly holding them back, but I got both.
  10. Mine went from ordered (5/6) to scheduled (5/11) in 4 business days, with this build. 2023 F250 SD XLT CREW CAB 8' LONG BED 4x4 Antimatter Blue Metallic exterior Baja color interior HO 6.7 Diesel 3.31 electronic locking diff Splash guard/mud flap front/rear Wheel well liner-front only Drop in bedliner Upfitter switches Rear defrost
  11. Is there a date on order close for the 23's? My build below, if trim/options matter. 2023 F250 SD XLT CREW CAB 8' LONG BED 4x4 Antimatter Blue Metallic exterior Baja color interior HO 6.7 Diesel 3.31 electronic locking diff Splash guard/mud flap front/rear Wheel well liner-front only Drop in bedliner Upfitter switches
  12. Understood. There is not one official offroad park in this whole state though. Like one of these defunked quarries where the land is already trashed, can't be used.
  13. Hmmmm......... I think there is plenty of challenging stuff for even the "baddest" new bronco to try on, and this is all "built up, nowhere to wheel" dirty Jersey................ You got traditional mud (private property) Deep water Engine blocks Cars Trees. Snow Cars in the snow......... Concrete walls..... (buddies rig I was driving) Hole left after digging out inground pool....... Vid http://luxjo.supermotors.net/POOL/WHEELIN/MOV02447.MPG And for a quick fix, someone always has a deck over or a tree stump kicking around. And finally, want to test your new bronco's extraction capabilities. Drive your crappy old car, in your crappy old empty pool (auto starters and man tran's don't mix). Call your bronco buddies up and spent 2-3 hours getting it out. So I disagree, you can find "hardcore offroading" without driving 100's of miles..............
  14. I remember how I used to cure my "stock" old bronco when the TC used to get a little hot. http://luxjo.supermotors.net/OLD BRONC VID PICS/BUCK 6 JAN 07/MOV01311.MPG
  15. I read through that thread on that Jeep board and some were saying that may not be the real price. As in people have had a price shown to them in the same manner, but it ended up not being correct. I stopped reading there, as it's 11 pages long. Maybe it was confirmed somehow later on. "Unless you’re a dealer (who just joined this forum this month,) there’s one question that needs answered before I believe your leaked pricing: what system did you supposedly use to “check” your order? Even the VOTS isn’t available as no 392s have been assigned to customers outside of the dealership designation. That screenshot is not from the dealer OOS - so what is it? Second, every dealer allotment has the vehicle listed as a Rubicon base, not a sport. So this whole post is fishy." https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/my-392-rubicon-order-is-showing-a-price-now-77k.63524/page-4
  16. "regulate" it better could easily be stifle it, especially if dems get senate. But keep ignoring that fact.
  17. Well, why suggest something that is not going to happen. In fact, it is going to be curtailed, or possibly even banned outright.
  18. On what gas? Looks like 310 @ the wheels for 93. No E-85 IN jersey (closest for me is over an hour away and one of maybe 3, I can find in whole state). Base 4cyl, 4 door, man trans bronco start out @ base Rubicon weight. Rub with V-8 has to be 800 lbs more to get to top weight 4 door bronco, 5320 lbs. All these new rigs are pretty porky when you consider 96 FSB was 4600 base. Every one. Hope it forces Ford to drop in a V-8. I drive a 2.7 every day. Great motor after the initial lag (yes, it is short, but it is there). Not tractable/repeatable enough for me though offroad, especially when it gets really hot (like hard core crawling when you are sitting on the converter for a long time creating heat, trying to make obstacle). Granted a coyote may not be all that great either, so Ford really doesn't have an answer without going hybrid, and I don't think that is something that I'm going to want to have to fix if it gets buggy, electrically, way down the road. If I get one, I would probably keep it for rest of my life. I know many say that, but I do, still have my first new car, 86 Capri 5.0 bought new.
  19. I get them in case I get some weird electrical problem that seems unfixable. Tons of crap to go wrong. My Fusion Sport just up and shut off 4 times in the first 2 years. Luckily, it hasn't done it on well over a year. No codes ever......
  20. If you really want to have some idea, go buy a cheap OBDII scanner and read the code(s). I always do this, as many times I get the "could not reproduce" tag if there is no codes (or if whatever is wrong, is not super easily apparent). Could be a whole bunch of different things, no one is going to be able to diagnose from your description.
  21. Yeah. I was looking at older perf boats recently (2001 29' Baja). Everything for sale seemed to be in FL, CA, or near the Ozarks. So I went out to Iowa. 2400 miles in 4 days. Maybe in 15 years a "3/4" ton will be able to do it.
